First Tomsula confirms a heated meeting:

Now that may have been between VD n Staley:
http://www.bayareasportsguy.com/source-vernon-davis-and-joe-staley-involved-in-two-locker-room-quarrels/

During the past few weeks, there have been rumblings of a locker room feud at a team meeting. Maiocco referenced it happening four weeks ago. A source told Niners Nation that a player stood up against Colin Kaepernick, and, as a result, another stood up in defense of Kaepernick. Glazer’s report of players being unhappy and unwilling to connect with Kaepernick appear true, but there are others including team captains and veterans standing up for the 49ers quarterback. Needless to say, Kaepernick is not necessarily on an “island by himself,” but I suspect from the vantage point of the players Glazer spoke with, they are unhappy with the performance and what appears to them as Kaepernick’s apathy. We also have sources who stated apologies were exchanged and the team was ready to move on. Well, until the 49ers lost again.

VD really has no room to talk with his play. TBH besides Hyde nobody has room to talk.

Tomsula says he doesn't believe the leaks are coming from within the 49ers, but how would anyone know that there was problems in a players only meeting?

I'm going off of the quote only, i'm unable(by choice) to listen to the audio here at work, at least without headphones.

Does he not look at game film review? As a fan, armchair whatever, I can list plenty of reasons why......

He said he was getting open against Sherman but wasn't getting the ball. He wasn't trying to throw Kaep under the bus in any way but he knows and we know what the problem is.

we're 7 weeks in, how does he not know his QB's limits?

I know there was a lot of underneath routes open as the pocket collapse but not sure if Smith was open frequently.

Ah good ole fashion locker room turmoil.

The surest sign things are dysfunctional with little hope of recovery.

If Tomsula is having locker room problems 7 weeks in it's not a good sign for him and it's an even worse sign if the leaks are coming from the front office themselves.

Unfortunately this is in line with the pattern the front office set last year with Harbaugh as you had similar timely leaks about players having issues and now you have all of these leaks of events that happened weeks ago when you start hearing rumblings of big changes and talk of benching Kaepernick.

It could very well be coincidental and it could be a player leaking these things but even that's not a good sign either.

I guess he has to deny it but who is he really trying to convince here?

Details of a hash it out players only meeting that he himself acknowledged happened are leaked but nobody from the 49ers was the one who leaked the details.......who did than?

I guess they'll be sweeping for hidden cameras and microphones in the building this week

Not excusing Kap's issues but receivers always say they are getting open. I haven't watched film but comments I've read from people covering the team is that Sherman blanketed Smith most of the game
