The Kaepernick appearance was absolutely hilarious.

Pros -
Defense played well. Secondary clearly flex their muscle in terms of depth.
Blaine played well. Didn't light the world on fire but provided solid play, look at his reads, made quick decisions, hit dump offs and place the ball to where his WRs/TEs can catch it for the most part.
Negs -
We won!!!!! lol wtf!!! I want top 5 picks.
Vance, he needs to get cut. Can't catch anything thrown to him.
offensive players had the case of the dropsies, odd day.

It's bittersweet for me because on the one hand I'm happy they won but on the other hand I would rather lose from here on out.
All winning does is make the draft pick worse which means less of a chance of grabbing a QB and building a false sense of hope in the front office and coaching staff.

YES! I was about to start a separate thread to say cut McDonald and Simpson TOMORROW! They are worthless....One of Gabbs INTs was because of a drop by Simpson...Meanwhile Patton 3 catches 70 yards was solid! Maybe ink him to a cheap extension after the season??

Main thing this showed me is ATL has been playing above its true level. Quinn did a great job early on in season but they aren't as talented as their record. Nor is GB.

Kaepernick would have never went though his reads like Gabbert did
(for the guy who said stop making comparisons)

I don't know why the OL experiment continues......moronic.
As for Blaine, he's not the long term answer either. He'll probably play good enough to to get an offseason deal in Houston or backing up Romo in Dallas, or who knows even Chicago If they move on from Cutler. Somewhere else......
Even if he doesn't, he's not a top 5-10 QB when he's at his best.

That's probably true, but I'm going to keep comparing him to the all time greats until then.

Pretty sure Gabbert is signed for another year after this, no?

Oh wow. You're right; he is. Maybe they picked up an option on him I didn't know about last offseason.

Well if that's the case he can hold the reigns for one more year for whoever we draft.
The chances of Kaep being back are <5% in my opinion.

That extra $18M on top of the cap space we will have next year already can give us some real chances of rebuilding ASAP

Assuming folks would want to come here.....and we get the right guys.

Huh...
The "
worst OL in 30 years" didn't give up any sacks today. That's weird.
I wonder why that is...

A QB with a better football mind made a huge difference. So refreshing. Unfortunately we got a win thanks in part to Quinn being a dipshart.
