Brand new RT sounds good, not sure who will be available. AD is coming back, but I am sure he will have to prove his loyalty all over again after he left us hanging at the worst possible time of the year....What about DE for the 3-4? Dial is one starter, hopefully Armstead continues improving his game. Bruce Irvin will be a FA, and I know Baalke really liked him in 2012 and thought about drafting him.

Anthony Davis is claiming to be putting in the work right now with the expectation to start next year.

I still say sign Josh Norman.

Supposedly AD has been working out hard. Don't care about his public comments about Staley

Cornerback or Linebacker to replace Wilhoite.

Would be nice. But Baalke doesn't throw big money at the secondary and Norman would cost big. If you look at all his previous FA sigtning in the secondary Carlos Rogers, Donte Whitner, and Antoine Bethea, none was a huge contract signing. No more than 7 million year (which is what he gave Rogers in 2012 when he re-signed him to a 4year deal). I actually like our secondary, it's the pass rush that needs a boost.

Yeah it would be a mistake to pay too much for the secondary. Seattle has their highest paid defensive players in the secondary but Chancellor and Bennett aren't happy with their deals.

They're still paying them pretty well, with good deals for Wagner, Wright and Avril too.

But they may not keep Irvin or any other younger player who comes up for an extension.

A good pass rusher is more difficult to develop than a competent, not necessarily great, CB.

TEs, 34 DL, LBs... WR...

I need to see the FA list.....

ohh wait,.... how could I forget my current NYJ 34 DE target!!!!

It all depends who the pass rusher is. If it's a rookie, where in the draft is he being valued at and picked.

On that free agent list, I like either Muhammad Wilkerson or Von Miller. Either would be great. And we will certainly have the cap space for it.

If and when Jed and Trent address the media, you would hope the reporters will ask if they will change their approach to free agency.

They haven't really pursued high-priced free agents so will that change with the cap space they have and the season they will have had?

But look at what signing Bennett and Avril have done for the Seahawks defense and their team as a whole.

Seahawks went for it a couple of years ago when they signed not only those two guys but traded for Harvin in one offseason. The Harvin deal didn't work out completely, though he made some key plays in the Superbowl.

But they went for it that one year and instantly leapfrogged past the 49ers in talent level. As well as their secondary was playing, they didn't have much of a pass rush until they made those signings. Now, their DL is just as important if not more so than their secondary.

Baalke's philosophy has never been to spend a ton in free agency, or I should say overpay. And I agree with it. Now his Torrey Smith signing at 5 years 40 million and 22 million guaranteed is his biggest money signing by far. Smith's numbers dont match his contract, but when you dont have a QB who can get you the ball, well that changes everything. Hopefully Gabbert will get Torrey more catches deep, I like the 41 yarder he connected with him on last week. In the offseason, unless the Broncos franchise tag Von Miller, I'd go after him. He's a rare player.

Sweet. What do we go buy first?

We'll go buy Manning and act like we did something good.
