Kind of surprised KC is in the top 10. Wasn't Dodub saying KC's line was historically awful this year?

That is what I heard also. I haven't paid that much attention to some of the listed teams except for the Raiders and from what I have seen of them, they pass block well.

Recently, they have been a lot better than the start of this year. It seem like Reid started the most talented people at each position at the beginning of the year and then through injuries and people shifting around, they discovered a better lineup. The guys they have in now seem to have a bit more will power and chemistry.

Charles going down forced them to go to different and deeper options and that has opened up the offense considerably. Higher yards per attempt, higher yards through the air, and more 10+ plays. Charles was more than capable of getting that production, but now they became more varied. The running backs are running the ball instead of as many dump offs and the tight ends and receivers are catching more than previous years. Therefore, with more threats to defend, there is less of a pass rush to contend with. They looked really bad the first six games of the season.

I think he is referring to Atlanta having a great oline and Matt Ryan not succeeding. There was also that article about how the receivers were letting him down when the receivers really were the main reason why he was doing as well as he was before.

OK. Thanks for that. I couldn't tell what he was trying to get out with all the teams listed. Atlanta is a mess right now.

That was through week 5. ATL was 5 and 0 with that offensive line. What were the line rankings post week 5? Does that show a decrease in line play to go along with all their losing?

I've been lukewarm about Dan Quinn as a HC. Would have definitely taken him over Tomsula but in general Quinn would not have been my first choice. We'll see if Quinn can turn things around with more time.
