TOMSULA LOSING PLAYERS???

According the San Jose Mercury News, Navorro Bowman today took a noncommittal stance on Tomsula for 2016 - saying "that's not my decision." Not a good thing when one of the team's respected veteran players takes that kind of stance on the head coach. Hopefully more players come out with a similar stance in the coming weeks and the 49ers fire Tomsula. Too bad they would also be losing a good DL coach. But, thats what you get for promoting him to HC.

Seems like the players like him but would rather have a beer with him after practice than have him as their HC.

Bowman's statement sounds like the typical "I can't say I want him gone but I don't want to say I want him back because I don't" non answer that players give.

I don't want to say Bowman speaks for everybody but I would venture to guess that's the feeling of most of the players.

I don't always read into players comments, but it would've been so easy for him to give a better answer than that if he supported him. He could've said that he loves Tomsula and supports him as his coach and will do so (so long as he is the coach). You could then read into that, but there's plausible deniability.

Under Harbaugh the Niners needed some tweaking. Here they need to clean house and build from scratch.

Kill them all and let god sort them out later.

In comparison he stood behind Vic Fangio last year. I still haven't seen the game from last week, but how Crowell gets that many yards makes no sense whatsoever.

Jed has been enamored with Tomsula since the Singketary days. Jed wanted him to be HC all along. Now the team is paying for it

I actually thought the defense played hard today and showed emotion. They were hung out to dry with the offense.

Looks like we have another year with Tomsula:

So while we continue to struggle, Harbaugh will have transformed Michigan into a top ten program. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Some pretty good quotes from Boldin and Smith on discontent of the offense, the team, etc.: http://www.sfexaminer.com/fine-focus-this-tomsula-gone-soon/
