BENGALS AT NINERS POST GAME
Absolutely pathetic. Turnovers, dropped passes, horrible coaching, stadium 70% empty, York nowhere to be seen or heard from....One player I started liking the past month was Vance McDonald, but he reverted back to Vance of old and cost Gabby 2 picks with bobbled passes.

Re: BENGALS AT NINERS POST GAME
Defense came to play today. I thought they played well. Was hung out to try by offense. Besides McDonald's obvious blunders, passing game continues to take a step back. Gabbert is killing drives by throwing short of the markers on 3rd down. Can't tell from TV. Is Gabbert not seeing receivers or has he become scared to throw the ball down the field? Looking forward to Cosell's film analysis. I am sure he will address it.

I was upset with the punter. But I didn't see the whole game.

You didn't miss anything. The 49ers recovered an onsode kick and Tomsula finally won a challenge and then Gabbert screwed it up.

Al Guido told some sideline reporter that the front office was behind Tomsula and fully confident in him into next season, if that's true that's likely it for me for a few seasons.

I think it is mostly Jed, not that it matters in the end. Jed is a fool.

Vance McDonald's two drops today now give him a drop rate of 22% for his career, lowest of any qualifying TE over the last three years.
that's lowest as in worst ranked, not lowest drop %

There is another one of Jed's brilliant moves. Al Guido to replace Marathe? What is his football expertise? Something like marketing tickets for the Dallas Cowboys. Now he is team president.

According to Tim Kawakami, a 49ers official quickly said that "fully confident in Tomsula going forward" was simply an opinion of Jay Feely of CBS, and not necessarily how the front office feels.

Tim also thinks that Guido was supposed to tell Feely those things off the record, as is usual for this front office, and botched it. Now they can't even leak info correctly.

I can no longer believe anything that comes from the 49ers FO.
