Savage slinging it even with the Niners applying some serious pressure.

Because Baalke figured with a bad offense the Niners would be punting a lot... and was Afraid Andy Lee's leg would fall off punting that much?

No, it wasn't. Acker was clearly suppose to pick that up.

It's early but I think the Niners secondary is going to be solid this year at least enough that its one of the few thats not one of the big areas to worry about. Niners might even cut a few that will make other rosters one of the few positions on this team I can see that happening...

I really hope they give Cajuste a real good look, because he has amazing hands, and a knack for the big catch.

Driskel needs to work on his accuracy, but he's got some legs

seems to be making good reads though, he actually progresses through reads.

Welp, Driskel was disappointing with the accuracy, hopefully it's just first game jitters. He's finding the WR just throwing uncatchable balls.

Driskel is in the midst of trying to play while thinking to much. It's common for young players new to a system to think and not react. There are some good tools to work there.

And I wouldn't overly judge Driskel at Florida because he was coming back from injury. I'd judge him for his more recent time at La Tech. He's definitely goes ng to get long looks the resist of the preseason, so hopefully getting more reps and time in game situations will improve as we go along.

Does anyone know how Rashard Robinson played in the preseason game vs Texans? Did he even play?

6 defensive snaps.

----------

Chip Kelly's response to Robinson:

CB Rashard Robinson, how did he look?

"He only played about six to eight snaps total. I think he was good in those six to eight snaps. It wasn't a lot of exposure, and then he just got tight, so they erred on the side of precaution, but he should be able to go this week. This will be a big week for him." - See more at: http://www.49erswebzone.com/news/96180-transcript-kelly-talks-thad-lewis-injury-texans-more/#sthash.eCzR5YUq.dpuf
