Hyde > Mike Davis Davis will make a good change of pace back... But when the defense is in the backfield while the qb is still handing off the ball even Jim Brown would have trouble making yards... Fahn might eventually be good but get Anthony Davis back at Right tackle.... Brown is just being taken to school. Granted its the defending world champions.

Touchdown Eric Reid... Great job undercutting the route and hurdling some Semen to get in the endzone.

I just hope Chip is quicker to replace Hyde with Davis than he was to give Mathews more reps over Murray

EDIT: also Fahn Cooper is already GOOD.

.........Davis better than Hyde... Is as intelligent as saying Gabbert is better than Montana. especially since Davis showed two things last year Jack and ****... and thus far in his professional career had one good preseason game... And I like Mike Davis and I like the pick. However they are very different running backs and types of players.

Its still so weird seeing the Niners run screen plays... Great but suprising... damn an inch or two closer Mcdonald would have have a great run... Hyde galloping for 20 yards

Kind of considering a late-round pick on McDonald in my PPR league.

Hyde gallops into the endzone and finally the Niners have a good start to finish drive today. Its still extremely weird seeing no delay of game penalties.

Actually Hyde was having a good season prior to being injured last year... Much better than Davis' 1. something ypc but hey. As I said they are two different kinds of back. They should complement each other well. Especially since Davis shed some pounds and got his speed back.

So far Ray Ray this preseason Ray Ray has been the best looking mlb to play next to Bowman.

Neither are proven. Mike Davis brings more to the table since he's an underrated receiver. Both are good but Davis is BETTER.

The Niners on a positive note are showing some pass rush they are not getting there but they are making the qb at least hurry up a bit. I think front 7 the Niners will be ok this year. The Secondary is looking to shape up.

They never call grounding these days. That ball was 30 yards from anyone.

Oh man. Cannot lose Harold. Hope he's alright.

Thought maybe a stinger, but looks worse than that. Ribs, internal, or just the wind knocked out. Real range of things that could be going on there.

Davis brings more to the table in terms of speed Hyde brings more to the table in terms of power. Davis may be slightly better as a receiver its debatable. I like them both but Hyde is the one built to be an every down back and get the tough yards. Used right they could both break 1000 yards this year.

Hopefully Harold is not a serious injury especially with Lynch being suspended for the first 4 games.

Nice play by Driskel staying in there and Dujuan Harris showing some speed and elusiveness

Return to San Francisco 49ers
