I don't disagree with the fact I'd like to see Jimmy G play better but to be fair there just really hasn't been very many situations that have called for him to throw the team back into the game. The only time I can think of is against the Steelers when they needed a late score he did deliver.
With the level the defense has been playing and how effective the rushing attack has been it doesn't matter who the QB is you're not going to drop them back and have them sling the ball around the yard.

Ridiculous tweet by David Lombardi.
Taking a microscope and zooming in on one stretch of the game =/= he played at that other level. There were like 4 passes that should have been picked off today. One was the play before his actual pick.
It wasn't a disaster of a game by any means, but he's still not out-playing Alex Smith. He needs to start hitting those easy throws in stride.

This team not being able to do more/enough things easy on offense is going to be a huge pain in the you know what come towards later in the year unless things change IMO. They won't have the chance to do it with player acquisition until at least next year unfortunately, which would go the longest way, but it's one of the biggest things that scares me about this team right now because it contributes to their floor being lower than it could/should be. It can/should get a little bit better if/when everyone gets back but that alone won't be enough IMO.

Even Armstead got some. Who woulda thought he'd suddenly come in and dominate in his 5th season?
I smell 'roids, but I'll take it.

Haha, nah. I had him projected out of the NFL and working towards being an economist or a sociologist at this stage of his life (he was a social science major). I don't have the right to talk about him much these days other than to say I STILL wouldn't sink considerable money into him.

Warning: Time to be arrogant again for one post.
A.J. Brown would look soooooo nice in a Niners jersey right about now (and I don't give one bleep how little one thinks he's done in TEN). Sheesh! I'm still sore on that one.

This. X is feeding me crow on Bosa; I'm gonna feed him some on Deebo.

Yeah, if Deebo turns into anything but a #1 receiver, I'm going to be irritated. I like a lot about him, but I liked him in the late-2nd or 3rd. And in part because I thought AJ Brown was similar but probably a bit superior.
