WTF???

http://www.mercurynews.com/2016/09/10/49ers-anthony-davis-pondering-retirement-again-this-time-just-shy-of-season-opener/

If this guy is serious, he's an @$$hole. First, he screws us by "retiring" after the draft. If he does it again after cuts and two days before the season opener....

I totally respect guys who retire early. It's a brutal game, and I'm frankly surprised more players don't decide their health is more important. But do it in a way that doesn't kill your team.

Does Harbaugh have a voodoo doll of Jed or what? This team just continues to be a dumpster fire. Thank goodness we have Tiller otherwise we would be screwed if Davis doesn't play next game.

He probably wants to play for another team so he is being a D@#K to the franchise hoping to free up his rights so he can sign where he wants.

At least Farve went through a whole season before retiring....

THis is a joke and should be an infringement but I know its not.

Can Garnett play at RG or only set for LG?

After what it took to draft Garnett, they better get something out of him this season.

The unofficial depth chart on the official site shows no backup LT behind Staley?

So now he will only play tackle. Volunteers to play guard. They install him at guard. Right before the first game thinks about retiring and then will only play tackle. Thought this was his practical joke against baalke at first. He needs to sit on the bench until he is needed and stop with this nonsense. I am officially done with this attention needing clown. Hope he says he changed his mind and wants to get on the field so they can tell him good luck with that, we really need you to warm up the right end of the bench. If you don't like it then we change our mind. You can play with a toy at the end of the right bench. Just be quiet and don't distract the cheerleaders or the water boys from doing their jobs.

The guy must have a bit of a screw loose as his recent actions are just on the bizarre side unless there is something going on behind the scenes that nobody knows about that caused him to have some sort of freak out moment.

Part of me thinks that he ran out of money when he stepped away, and wanted to get paid without putting himself at risk for injury.

Another part of me thinks he's a schizo with ego issues.

Either way get the impression that he premeditated this whole thing to mess with the upper elites in the organization. He's a flaky backup at this point. Even if more details come out to justify the change, you simply can't count on him. Probably did this whole thing in order to get traded at some point.

Probably stole Jobu's rum, and we all know that's a very, very bad thing to do.

Honestly, this pisses me off and offends me way, way worse than Colin Kaepernick's protest ever has.
