2013 DRAFT FINAL ANALYSIS

Post#1 » by 49er4life1979 » Sat Sep 17, 2016 2:29 am

By now we definitely know what we have from the 2013 draft. In the begining it did not look all that promising with the exception of Eric Reid. Fast forward 3 years later and it looks decent overall. Reid and Quinton Dial I would classify as solid picks. I still wish Reid had at least one more Pro Bowl, but overall a good player. For a 5th rounder, Dial is a bargain. And Vance McDonald's arrow is pointing up after a very rough first two years in the league. Despite all of the offensive shortcomings last year, he tallied 30 catches for over 300 yards and 3TDs. I think he should eclipse those numbers this year and get a new contract. So we have 3 players from that draft contributing. Not bad. Now,, if Tank Carradine can break out and have a good season and finally live up to his high 2nd round billing, then the class can be really good looking back. And I am still hopeful on Patton being a solid possession receiver.
