On the bright side, maybe we hobbled DangeRuss just enough to allow a DL that can actually get home in the Jets to a) beat the Hawks, or b) hurt Wilson more.

This just in: the Seahawks are a terrible matchup for us.

I don't really blame the offensive line for the run game because there is zero threat from the passing game so defenses are just going to make sure they stop Hyde and dare our lousy QB and lousy WRs to beat them.

The running game isn't going to really get going until the passing attack is a credible threat outside of 10 yards.

Seeing all of these rookies QBs playing a part of me wants to throw Jeff Driskel in there just for the fug of it.

Other bright spot: for what he's had, Hyde has done pretty well. Very little there, but he was making the most of it even before garbage time (granted he only had like 35 yards).

If they get a td get on onside kick score another td get another onside kick score another td we still lose

If the team keeps playing the way they did today I think every team on the rest of our schedule is going to be a terrible matchup for us.

You do know he's on the Bengals, right?

I've wanted to see a swing pass or two to Hyde all game. Not necessarily in this situation.

Yeah but we can trade all our qbs for him if we throw in a bag of Doritos.

Too bad he's on the Bengals right now. Honestly I'm not sure why the team kept Ponder on the team over Driskel.

It's always been my pet peeve that your 3rd string guy should be a developmental type of QB and not a veteran guy with no future. I mean if you're down to your 3rd string QB for an extended amount of time your season's done anyways so might as well put a young unproven guy in there to see if he has something.

Meaning you're hoping for an Andy Dalton and AJ McCarron injury? :)

There's no upside for Jed and Trent to play Kaep.

If he does well, then this flag thing gets more momentum, which they probably don't want, even though it's resulted in higher jersey sales.

And if he does well, they'd have to keep him on the roster, which they don't want to do.

Or if he gets injured they'd have to keep him.

If he did well, that would again raise questions about getting rid of Harbaugh and trying to sandbag Kap last season. I mean those questions should always be raised, since what they did was inexcusable.
