You also think Mike Davis is better then Hyde

Sorry I stick to evaluations until they're proven wrong. 54 scattered carries doesn't mean anything me.

He has only 54 carries for a reason. And I don't even hate the guy, and I'm about as hard as I've ever seen on RBs.

Most of the time when this is the case, you're right, but this is an Arian Foster v. Jay Ajayi situation in my eyes.

Fair enough. I think that's crazy but I have been wrong before.

How about the fact that absolutely no one on the team believes he's a good enough rb to crack the lineup

Taylor Gabriel wasn't good enough to make the Browns team. This thread is getting off track though, didn't mean to hijack it

He's not Taylor Gabriel he's Mike Davis.

So how about trade #2 to the Jets and taking Barnett at #6?

Or do you think he'll get pushed up to a top #5 pick? Looking at a couple of mocks the highest I've seen him go is #8 to the Bengals.

Why would I be laughing at Goff?

I'm laughing at you thinking Rogers is the best QB in this draft. LOL.

Eric Decker + #6 + 3rd rounder for #2 + 6th rounder

I kinda like it but I feel we should get more still....... a future 2 or a future 1 .....

If this was a draft like 2016, 2015, or 2012 where quarterbacks were the clear cut definite top 2 picks Frisco could mine a lot more value out of #2. Unfortunately, that isn't the case in this draft.

If this proposed scenario was at all realistic, 9ers might be able to squeeze a little more value than what I posted because Decker is coming off injury but not a whole lot more IMO.

We can still hope a team falls in love with a QB who doesn't go #1 and assume that team isn't us.

A lot of ifs, maybes, and coulds need to progress in unison but one note that could become relevant in this hypothetical is McDaniels was Decker's coach as a rookie. Decker did next to nothing as a rookie, but McD probably played a big role in drafting him.

True, it only takes one sucker.

Gotta hope the QB's rock the combine and their pro days.

I can't logically see the Jets doing that(QB) without giving Hackenberg(2nd rd pick) a honest chance.

Everything I hear about that is, he's already considered a sunken cost. Maybe not to that extreme so quickly, but it sure seems like NYJ is far from confident in the guy. They went with Geno over him, then Petty over him, then back to Fitz over him.

Supposedly one jet's offensive coach is (anonymously) quoted as saying Hackenberg can't throw the ball in the ocean.

LOL and they spent a 2nd rd pick on him.... fools!!!!!!!!!!!!

well maybe QB is a possibility now...
