More receptions and yards than last season. One less TD. Carr was gimped and then was knocked out. So I'm not sure what you think is wrong with him. I imagine he will keep improving.

Rodgers' movement in the pocket was incredible there. Wow.

It sickens me to say this, but he's the first QB whose GOAT status could challenge Montana's IMO. Gotta be objective.

His TD to INT ratio is 4.12. :o 4.12!!! Brady's is 3.0, even with the cheating. And he's 2nd of all time.

2nd half of the season the guy looked like he was giving half effort.

A-Rod is the GOAT already.

The single most talented QB I've ever watched.

That was the least impressive Hail Mary in Aaron Rodgers' career. I'm livid if I'm a coach in blue.

The fact that I'm ranking or can rank Hail Mary plays from one player says just a bit about said Aaron Rodgers, though.

J.J. Watt is already also the greatest DE of all time too.

Just sayin'.

I cry every time I see Johnathan Hankins make a play like the one he just made right there. What should have been.....

(even though I'm a Giants supporter for this game).

Son of a gun. The man just did it again. Well, that entire DL did it on that play if I'm being accurate.

Already?

Talented? Of course. But he's got to manifest that talent w/ more postseason wins before we can start comparing him to Montana IMO. Talent = potential. Bo Jackson had talent, but it wasn't realized as much as Barry Sanders' talent was.

45 TDs & 21 picks in the postseason (zero picks in 4 Super Bowls) and 7.86 YPA in the postseason. That's about as clutch as clutch gets.

Yup! If I'm starting a franchise from scratch, on an even playing field, and I had the first pick of the litter of all QBs ever...I'm taking Aaron Rodgers first. Even over Montana.

ODB has 2 drops today. Unlike him. It was a high pass, but ODB jumped too soon, and he still should've had it.

Ok, then I would say you think Rodgers is the most TALENTED QB of all time. That's fair. Because you're thinking from the beginning.

I think "greatest" should be reserved for who has PERFORMED the best (thinking from the end). Results.

...Although nobody even comes close to Steve Young's efficiency numbers against the average; he just couldn't keep up that style as long as some of the other greats.

P.S. I'm still annoyed that I knew Rodgers would be better than Alex, but Nolan didn't. :banghead:

I don't know how you want to label it...he's just the best QB I've ever watched, and he'd be my pick out of all the QBs if I'm starting a team. To me that makes him the GOAT at this point.

Same holds true for my boy Watt. I'm taking him over any other DE ever. Even Smith and White.

So you're saying his peak is higher than anyone else's peak?

I think you should have to keep up that level of play over a long enough period of time & produce the greatest resume (especially in the postseason) to be the greatest, but that's just me. If he Matt Ryans his way to zero more postseason wins the rest of his career, I don't even think he belongs in the same category as Peyton (although I'm confiident he won't do that).

OT: Matt Ryan is a fraud, and he's going to prove it next week.
