Who knows, I wouldn't put it past TO to enter the HoF as an Eagle or Cowboy.

I guess he spent more seasons with SF but he didn't exactly leave on the best terms.

He has no choice. Football players don't go in under any team name. He goes in as Terrell Owens. It's a stupid argument.

My whole deal was I HATE the fact the 49ers COULD be playing a 5th preseason game.

Another notable team: the San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers opened at 300-1 to win Super Bowl LII at Westgate last February. This year? They tied for the eighth-best odds at 20-1.

Strange as it sounds but I'd be happy if all the landed was Justin Pugh and Ezekiel Ansah in free agency. Ansah would be a gamble but one I think you have to take because the payoff could be huge.

I'd be on the fence in adding Talib. In terms of talent I think he'd be the best CB they could add but in terms of character not so much.

As far as other needs I just don't see any major upgrades that could be made. Maybe Jimmy Graham could give you a quality pass catching TE and redzone threat but I wouldn't throw everything possible to get him.

Would it change things if he goes in as a Cowboy?

49ers Re-sign DL Cassius Marsh to a Two-year Deal

http://www.49ers.com/news/article-2/49ers-Re-sign-DL-Cassius-Marsh-to-a-Two-year-Deal/d4fb86c3-e2af-4eda-8e10-49e0d6a8c935?sf181542318=1

The good news: It's (only) a 2-year deal.

The bad news: They signed freaking Cassius Marsh to a 2-year deal.

Pending the numbers, I don't have a problem with the signing. Marsh is an odd guy - and may have other off-field issues that I'm not aware of - but he was pretty effective rushing the passer toward the end of last year. He was arguably our best pass rusher over the Jimmy G win streak, he seemed to fit pretty well in our system, and he's still young. Given what else this team is trotting out at the position, I have no problem hanging onto him. Obviously we still need to address the pass rush, but the FA and draft crop are pretty mediocre at the position. I don't want to see us go throw buckets of money at Ziggy Ansah.

1. Hyde - Get some of the old body back if you can do it without some hesitation that you'll begin to break down if you go back. I know you struggled with it in school a bit.

2. NO MORE C.J. FLIPPIN' BEATHARD for 5-7 games, please.

I still believe he can be a solid receiver as a back. It's odd, though. He was quite a bit more natural with it as a college back. I'd even go as far to say he looked smooth as a receiver in school. I don't get some of the regression with him other than to point out those two things that I'd like to see different.

99% of the time we just get the money numbers but I'd love to hear about some of the perks that have been in these sports contracts.

I'm sure there have been some interesting and wild stuff in the bigger stars deals.

Return to San Francisco 49ers
