You give the Juice a play call that doesn't even suit his skills best there? Ok? I guess I'm the idiot because I don't get that one.

Not to mention you have Carlos freaking Hyde at your disposal. Granted he's a little lighter in the keester, which I'm not sure I'm completely in love with yet, though I don't know if I can push that argument given how much better Hyde says he feels, but I'm rolling with Hyde in that spot almost every single time whether the defense knows it or not. Sad.

Our offensive line needs to figure things out at halftime.

Our secondary needs to realize the game started

To be clear I agree with the call to go with it on that fourth down just not the play all.

4 sacks allowed
Didn't convert either 4th down
1 fumble
3 punts for under an average of 40
6 penalties for 45 yards
Your deep threat drops a pass
And a player the coaching staff is in love with departs early with an injury

On the flip side...

Neither Stewart, McCaff, or Newton has gashed them on the ground. Thought all 3 would early.
Benjamin only got 1 ball and it was late in the half.
Cam continues to be bad Cam from an accuracy standpoint.
Their lone TD was following an emotionally gutting type play (not so much for me because I never had high hopes for Foster in any one area)
Hyde has averaged over 6 yards per carry and been included in the receiving game finally

I don't love using the word "our" but our offensive line needs to not be our offensive line. :)

Not realistic? Sorry. Ha.

The defense especially against the run looks much better than last year. Still a very anemic pass rush... The offense well its sputtering and the guards I knew it was a weak spot... but I didn't realize truly how awful they are...

Rueben Foster suffers high ankle sprain

http://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/sports/profootballdoc/sd-sp-pfd-foster-49ers-ankle-injury-0910-story.html

The rookie linebacker suffered what appears to be a high ankle sprain on the 49ers’ third defensive series in Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers.

From Dr. David J. Chao. The doctor the twitter world goes to for injury evals as soon as they happen because he, like many other docs, are so dang good at nailing these in athletes just by the video.

Why Mike Shula isn't held in higher regard is beyond me. I'll continue to say it.

They're talking about him going back into the game so it's probably not the high ankle variety or I would imagine he would be out for sure.

And well that's pretty much the game right there.... seems like the same story for the past few years... I knew going in this was going to be a lot of lossess but I was hoping to see some improvement ...

I think the defense looks improved but the offense isn't doing them any favors.
