NFC West is awful

If Shanahan rebounds, we actually have a chance at this division.

I don't believe we have any chance with our current QB situation. We will win some games due to the run game and defense but I don't at all believe in Hoyer.

facts are that two games in, the leader of the division is a 3 way tie at 1-1....
niners either go 0-3 or 1-2 tied with LAR and pending on results with Sea/AZ. So there is a factual possibility of the niners having a chance.
Likelihood, Yo no se. I(we) need to see vast improvements on the offense.

Palmer and Goff are mediocre. Actually Palmer might be a scrub, just haven't seen much of the Cardinals yet. Wilson has the worst OL in the division, which obviously doesn't bode well for his health. If Beathard can come in and just tread the waters, who knows...I know it's still a long shot, but I didn't expect anything coming into this season.

Yeah, no touchdowns in two games is woeful no matter who you are

We can(hope to the gods) expect that the defense will continue to improve in one way or another...
offense, thats usually a tough one to improve midseason without pro bowl type players...

Winning the division is a huge stretch. Winning a few games is much more realistic

If they can manage to match the week 1&2 D with the week 3 offense, they could be a 7-8 win team. I don't think we have a 2 win team. We are inconstant but not garbage. I don't feel hopeless, I've seen signs of good things. I'm content with some good loses thought. I'm not sure I want to win yet.

I still am not sure where we are yet. Is the defense getting better like we saw In Seattle or will it get gouged like The Rams? Same with the offense. Couple more weeks we will get a better picture of where this team is.
