And why the **** is Dumervil not playing in this game or last? Pretty much the only guy I saw generating pressure from the outside and he can't get on the field anymore? Is he hurt?

And he's doing a good job of blocking Thomas when he's matched up.

Thomas is always going to sting to me given the number 2 will always be associated with him but if I put that aside, and I don't want to, but if one forces me to put that aside, I don't have major, major gripes with that guy and has been getting better the last several weeks IMO. The major, major gripes will cement when the number 2 comes up and and he levels off eventually, however. For now I can only be mad about so much. Right now he's not elevating my health numbers. :)

That is why I have a gripe with him. He was way overdrafted imo. I never see him living up to that high of a pick unless he's posting 8+ sacks a season and dominating in the run game. We are seeing why Tank was starting over him. Dude was pretty solid at setting the edge. Thomas has been pretty clueless in this area.

That's fine to me. I liked ST as a player to some degree but when you attach the 2 to him, not for me either. The fact I haven't been more vocal about him is also in part because I hold him in such high regard as a person, too. I get why someone would WANT TO work with him on a day in, day out, standpoint. I get that part of it. And that's a bit of a negative and a positive with me as a fan. If I like you as a person I'm not likely going to be vicious and overly outward in my disdain for you. Never does that cross into how I evaluate a player's performance, however. It just means some of the viciousness I'll attack a guy with is different.

Like Janoris Jenkins. I have zero respect and zero like for that guy as a human and as a person. He's disgusting and I have zero good to say about him other than when his play merits it. I go at him a lot. I still strongly believe I can rate his play fairly at the same time, but he's somebody I'll get on as a fan when he does something stupid.

Anyway.....

That Breida recovered that fumble that way is simply amazing. You couldn't have asked for a better bounce and roll than that.

Yeah. Why would you want to build around that guy? My goodness. It was like he was shot out of a cannon.

That was a phenomenal jump off the snap there. That's part of why Staley got beat. Man that was nuts.

Also, if you dislike me for getting on players for being life idiots and for decision making all the time, Lawrence is one of those guys that I use as proof that I never want life idiots on my favorite football team. Loved that guy's game coming in.

Bethard had a guy in the end zone open, breaking from left to right towards the right corner.

Maybe he has to wind up too much to generate some velocity. Lawrence got to his arm just as he was about to trigger it and whip the ball forward.

Definition of straight up football player. Will be successful at whatever he chooses to do after football IMO.

Staley is an average tackle at this point.

Beathard is useless.

Tomlinson is garbage.

Robinson is meh.

Thomas is in the wrong defense and not as dominant as people were saying (like I said).

Nothing to see here.
