Heard this song on the radio, heard the second verse and it sounded like a song about Jimmy lol

It didn't take long for JImmy G's contract to already start looking like a bargain. And Rodgers hasn't even done his contract yet.

Grant Cohen was sucking Hoyers dick this time last year. Everyone has off days, but just a few days ago they where writing about how sharp jimmy looked. Now the sky is falling.

Oops! I didn't realize Cohen wrote the article, or I wouldn't have posted it.
Despite being someone with no credibility, he's right that Jimmy struggled. It's not huge news to struggle in camp, but it's the middle of June.

Re: Jimmy G headed to SF
I'm a bit worried about Garoppolo's deep ball. I was hoping he'd really dedicate himself to working on his mechanics on those throws over the offseason. Not saying he didn't work on it, by any means, just that it doesn't appear to have taken. But the deep ball is arguably the least important part of an NFL QB's game, particularly in a system like Shanahan's that takes advantage of timing and scheme to set up quick strikes, and play action to get better looks downfield. And it's not like defenses can just not defend deep, especially when the Niners have a guy like Goodwin to stretch the field. Hit one long one every couple games and teams can't just crowd the box. Garoppolo's talents tend toward the more important areas: short- and mid-range accuracy, quick release, anticipation, feel in the pocket.
I actually don't think Cohen was intending to say the sky is falling with Garoppolo. He's actually been pretty effusive with his praise prior to this week. But pretty much everyone agrees Garoppolo struggled this week, and especially with the last practice. That's gonna happen. He's still getting used to a lot of the receivers (Bourne and Goodwin are the only guys who have been playing lately who were around and pretty involved last year), and the offense is working on installation still. Definitely not worried about a couple rough days of practice at this stage.

#2 in the NFL with being sacked 9 times so far this season (Tyrod Taylor is #1 with 10).
Can't believe the Niners didn't draft any of those great guards this year.

He could also use better weapons.
Maybe he'll re-establish that chemistry with Goodwin again but I don't know, maybe Kyle thinks his scheme is so good he doesn't need a stud WR or TE who's a matchup nightmare.
Wonder if they even offered anything for Gordon.
When the Falcons went to the SB, did they try throwing fades to Julio in the red zone or Kyle thinks his offense is too good for that? I heard actually that Ryan hasn't connected well with Julio in the red zone in the last couple of seasons.
All the cap space they had and so far, they spent it on Jimmy and a guy who's out with an ACL. That may be a lost cause signing already if he doesn't regain the quickness he used to have.

So probably national media trying to be sensationalistic but heard that Chris Mortensen -- I thought he was sick -- said something about there's a chance Jimmy wouldn't be the starter in week 1?

Jimmy has been off target on easy passes. He's the reason those passes were tipped for picks. It's pretty frustrating.

The Breida one it was more Jimmy's fault than Breida but the other one was pressure induced and I don't really consider that one a fault of him missing an easy pass.
You hate those misses but those I at least consider correctable with reps and experience and I thought for the most part he was on target today and he should've been over 300 yards if Deebo catches that ball.

The pass to Deebo was a stupid one to begin with. It was RIGHT to the DB. Jimmy is lucky Deebo came in to play defensive back. He missed what was more like an interception.

Nope. Jimmy looked solid.
