Sounds like a 5th round pick is the return.

Not too shabby if that's what they got.

I had high hopes for Robinson but he completely fell on his face this season. He was better off as a #2 guy. I still think he has his best years in front of him

Yep. We are definitely addressing the CB position in the offseason. Dontae Johnson is a FA and not expected back. So that just leaves Ahkello and K'Waun. Sign one in FA and draft one or two. One in the earlier rounds and one later in the mid rounds.

Jokes aside, I thought we would at least hold on to him a bit longer, he's still young and learning.

Oh well... there had to be off the field influence(i.e. handling of demotion) to push this through.

Man, Baalke loved him some CB's.

Anyways, I really don't see much ramification from this trade. If anything Robinson played a key role into the secondary being so lackluster. So on that note, I'll take it as a positive they got something of value for him.

Witherspoon's going to be an all pro someday, just wish we kept Keaser. Them two should have been our guys from the start... like honestly did Reaser ever proven he couldn't play for the niners? No point in waiving the guy. Wait until the Chiefs insert him over Terrance Mitchell.
