If there's room for a decent upside but risky, project corner, including the ones like that available in the draft, add him on to the pile with all those corners because he's worth considering in the same discussion as those other guys.
Cornerback Delvin Breaux scheduled to visit 49ers

Cool. They're considering him if correct. Do I expect it to happen? No. But I'll sleep a hair better tonight knowing he's under consideration.

Ndamukong Suh - DL - Free Agent
Jets CEO Christopher Johnson told reporters at the NFL Owners Meetings the team has rescinded their offer to free agent Ndamukong Suh.
The Jets initially emerged as the top landing spot for Suh given their abundance of cap space. New York had reportedly presented the "biggest offer" to him, but it's possible Suh was only using the team to leverage an even larger offer from the Rams, who now appear to be the favorites to sign him. The Titans and Saints also remain in the mix.

More reason to trade up for Q. Nelson.

Would not be surprised to see the Raiders flopped hard next season....

Good news that our scheme relies heavily on OUTSIDE zone running plays? Though it's gonna be tough to find cutback lanes....

Huh. That's a surprise. Chris, refresher on Walford? I seem to recall he was regarded as a pretty well-rounded prospect and a real receiving threat. Surprised he busted out so fast.

Really good physical traits. Around 34-inch arms with real big hands and good movement skills. Was emerging as a talented but unfinished blocker coming into the NFL. Got them really excited for how he looked in the 2nd half of his rookie season, though he wasn't super productive on the stat sheet. He was starting to look like a really good move, down-the-field guy that a lot of people thought he could be coming into the NFL.
Then he suffered an ATV accident where he suffered a bad cut on his knee and was forced to miss most/all of their offseason program. Got back in time to play in the preseason but then was on the injury report for the entire 1st half of the season with a knee injury, was never given (earned?) the clear starter role, and then after the year the team admitted he never got right the entire season.
This year they brought in Jared Cook to start and lead that part of the room.
Would he have taken off without the ATV/other knee stuff? You could make a case he was never the same after all that but maybe it was a bunch of other stuff than just that, too.
He wasn't very technically sound as a route guy and still had work to do as a blocker. Drops were also an issue for him in school. I don't know off the top of my head if that followed him to the NFL.
With Ben Watson off the market (as of today?), he's probably the most intriguing FA TE still available. I don't know how jazzed I would be about getting him without knowing about his knee first, but you could do a lot worse than him IN FREE AGENCY. He's got too many physical gifts not to get another chance unless it's determined he isn't worth it because of a health issue or really rubs someone as a guy (no known issue as far as I know of).
