Darius Leonard - LB - Colts

Colts MLB Darius Leonard was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week for Week 2.

Leonard piled up 18 tackles, one sack, one forced fumble, and a batted a pass in the upset win over the Redskins. The No. 36 overall pick back in April, Leonard has been an every-snap player and is Pro Football Focus' top-rated off-ball linebacker through two weeks. The Colts may have found a star.

I tried telling Lance Zierlein he was hot trash in the draft but he wasn't having it. I'm gonna go ahead and take the W on this one now.

Vita Vea - DL - Buccaneers

Buccaneers first-round DT Vita Vea (calf) practiced Saturday.

Vea resumed practicing for the first time in over a month on Thursday, and took to the field again Saturday during the 30-minute portion that was open to the media. He's still considered doubtful for Monday night against the Steelers, but doesn't appear too far off.

Josh Rosen - QB - Cardinals

ESPN's Josh Weinfuss "wouldn't be surprised" if the Cardinals turn to Josh Rosen if the offense continues to struggle this week.

Sam Bradford will start but is on a short leash. The entire Cardinals offense has been a disaster the first two weeks, but Arizona doesn't want to put Rosen in a bad spot. Coach Steve Wilks and GM Steve Keim have been noncommittal on making the move to Rosen. The Cardinals may be forced into playing Rosen if Bradford doesn't rebound this week.

Josh Rosen - QB - Cardinals

Cardinals coach Steve Wilks announced Monday that Josh Rosen will start at quarterback going forward.

Sam Bradford looked ready for retirement in Weeks 1-3 and was benched with 4:34 left in the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss to Chicago. Rosen flashed some ability to move the offense on quick throws before his game-ending pick. Rosen will make his first NFL start in Week 4 versus Seattle. He could become an option in two-quarterback leagues but won't be a QB1 streamer anytime soon.

Anthony Miller - WR - Bears

Bears WR Anthony Miller is "day to day" with a dislocated left shoulder.

Miller played through the injury against the Cardinals before being forced to the sideline in the third quarter. Miller missed a season in college with a right shoulder injury. Miller is a promising prospect in the slot but production has been hard to come by with Mitchell Trubisky at quarterback.

Baker Mayfield - QB - Browns

Browns coach Hue Jackson named Baker Mayfield the starting quarterback.

"Baker understands there's still a lot of work to do," Jackson said. "But I think he can handle it. He's demonstrated that." He would have been able to handle it Week 1, but better late than never. Mayfield getting the nod is a big upgrade for the entire passing game. Tyrod Taylor (concussion) will serve as the backup once he is healthy.

Rashaad Penny - RB - Seahawks

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said Rashaad Penny is down to 228-pounds.

Penny's conditioning was an early-season concern after he ballooned to the 240s in training camp. He's now back closer to his Combine weigh-in, but it hasn't done much for him on the field. Penny has struggled with ball security and is averaging just 2.2 YPC. He's firmly behind workhorse Chris Carson for touches.

My guy Keke Coutee has some drops but he’s at 10 catches for 108 yards so far today.

Ronald Jones - RB - Buccaneers

Ronald Jones handled 10 carries for 29 yards in the Bucs' Week 4 loss to the Bears.

It was the rookie's regular season debut. With Tampa Bay trailing 38-3 at the half, Jones and teammate Peyton Barber never stood a chance on the ground. One positive takeaway is that Jones out-touched Barber 11-8 and led the Buccaneers in rushing yards (29). He'll likely be the first man up when the Bucs return from their Week 5 bye.

Antonio Callaway - WR - Browns

Antonio Callaway caught 3-of-9 targets for 54 yards in the Browns' Week 4 loss to the Raiders.

It was an eventful day at the office for Callaway, who committed several drops and nearly lost a fumble on a fourth-quarter punt return, but Cleveland recovered. Callaway nearly hit pay dirt on a 51-yard reception, only to be tackled down at the one-yard line before Carlos Hyde punched it in. The good news is Callaway has commanded nine and ten targets in the last two games; the bad news is he has only 74 scoreless yards to show for it. Callaway will remain an exciting-if-volatile WR4/flex option in Week 5 against the Ravens, who are getting back suspended top CB Jimmy Smith.

Nick Chubb - RB - Browns

Nick Chubb rushed three times for 105 yards and two touchdowns in the Browns' Week 4 loss to the Raiders.

He was not targeted in the passing game and got out-touched by Carlos Hyde 22 to 3, but Chubb made his workload count with two monster touchdown runs from 63 and 41 yards out. Plays like that are capable of earning Chubb more playing time going forward, although Chubb's to-date usage keeps him out of the flex-starter discussion. The Browns have stayed very committed to Hyde as their bellcow. Chubb is a handcuff until further notice.

Baker Mayfield - QB - Browns

Baker Mayfield completed 21-of-41 passes for 295 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions in the Browns' Week 4 loss to Oakland.

He added four rushes for ten yards. One of Mayfield's picks was innocous, getting inercepted by Raiders S Reggie Nelson at the end of regulation. Otherwise, Mayfield consistently kept Cleveland's offense on the move despite getting very little help from his pass catchers. Antonio Callaway committed multiple drops, and Jarvis Landry, David Njoku, and Duke Johnson all dropped passes as well. Mayfield will be a two-QB-league starter in Week 5 against the Ravens.

I still think we should have drafted Derwin James round 1, and Christian Kirk round 2.
