If the 9ers had an elite level pass rusher I would give them a pretty a fair shot at this game but when you have to scheme pressure against a high powered offense the results are rarely pretty.
The only things that I see working in the 9ers favor are having film on the Charger's game who run the same defense so that might give them an idea of how they Reid will scheme them and they can come up with a counter plan. Of course it works both ways and it could be a disadvantage as well.
The other thing is the Chiefs defense just isn't that good and this could be like the Rams Thursday night game last year where it becomes an offensive slugfest and maybe the 9ers defense make one or two more stops than the Chiefs defense does and they winning a high scoring game.

You're going to be massively wrong IMO. And that's being friendly to Shanahan because Kittle would look worse with 95% other HCs in the league.
