they just announced Sherman is out today, so anyone who was concerned with an untimly upset can probably rest knowing we will be slaughtered. :banghead:

this team desperatly needs to figure out this turn over problem. it is the single biggest source of our losses.

It’s pretty simple, stop being lazy and careless while in traffic. 17 fumbles through 6 games is astounding. Yes we have our problems defensively but we do them no favors when we constantly fumble the ball.

It reminds me of some of the Singletary or Nolan teams.

They'd make good plays between the 20s but would always shoot itself in the foot by coughing up the ball in the worst possible situations like inside the opponent's 5 or their own.

I remember Gore fumbling while running straight up the middle at the goal line more than once.

Who's #64? Did I see that right? The RDE on that TD run was #64? Or maybe it was useless Solomon Thomas? :noway:

He did a good job of cleaning that up through his career

Marsh. #54. I don’t understand why he’s in on that part of the field. Just idiotic. Also no NT. Mitchell was off. You are asking to get run over there.

Richburg is getting pounded so far. That is the drawback of being a small center.

Bethard is kind of like JT O'Sullivan. Shows flashes of very good play but then turns it over at the worst times.

Now he's a backup so what do you expect out of him?

But he's been repeatedly surprised by blitzes in key third downs, including today.

Now is that on Kyle? Does he not scout the opponent's tendencies and anticipate blitzes, where it's going to come from, which situations?

Or does Kyle even allow Bethard or Jimmy to make adjustments at the line or just depend on max protect?

Kyle calls these plays which result in big chunk plays but then leave the offense unprepared to deal with blitzes. That's been the pattern all season and it's not an accident that the team is -11 on turnovers.

Is he trucking Richburg or just doing the rip move or a quick swim move to get past him?
