49ers have Jeff Wilson and Matt Dayes on the PS.

As far as peanut signings go, I was a very big fan of Jeff Wilson's. There's things I like about Matt Dayes...or did when he was in school and coming into the NFL. He's in his 3rd year.

That's their PS options since they'll need a body now with Mostert now going to be out a while.

In October they worked out Jeremy McNichols (who was since on the Colts active roster for 4 days before being cut), Shane Vereen, Charcandrick West, and Andre Ellington. They chose to sign Dayes over those guys at the time.

That's at least the 2nd time Carr slid quite a bit earlier than he needed to. Not questioning a thing at all with him but just a small observation.

Whatever bit the Raiders it got the whole team. Doinked FG off the goal post. Sheesh!

That's the most amazing kick I've ever seen. Gruden whispered, "I don't care how close you get; just don't make it."

Look at the massive holes there for the offense. Just a shameful performance by the Raiders.

Cassius Marsh sacks by season

2014 - 0
2015 - 0
2016 - 3

leaves Seahawks to join Patriots

2017 - 3 (1 sack with the Patriots, 2 sacks with the 49ers)

If he records 1 more sack tonight, he'll have more sacks in this game than he's ever recorded in any one season combined. Half sack to tie it.

His 3.5 sacks already on the season is a career high.

--------

And yes, my feelings haven't changed. He needs to be replaced.

Speaking of, the aforementioned Marsh just missed out on a TFL coming down the line. Somewhat forgivable but could have and probably should have made it.

Trying to think of the last time I saw a sneak that went that poorly without a botched snap?

It is refreshing to see a QB get the ball out quickly on a blitz

Garnett getting some reps tonight, among many others.

Garnett got 14 snaps in week 1 and that's been it since.

Read on Twitter

Posted that earlier but I'll give some stat lines for the heck of it with it:

Bulger in 2002 (won by 15 vs. Oakland) - 14/21 for 186 yards, 3 TDs, 0 INTs, sacked 3 times, 4 rushes for negative 1 yard and 1 rushing TD. 1 fumble lost

Mariota in 2015 (won by 28 vs. Tampa Bay) - 13/15 for 209 yards, 4 TDs, 0 INTs, sacked 2 times, 2 rushes for 6 yards.

Fitzpatrick in 2005 (won by 6 vs. Houston) - 19/30 for 310 yards, 3 TDs, 1 INT, sacked 5 times, 3 rushes for 23 yards. 1 fumble (not lost)

Mullens - (won by 31 vs. Oakland) - 16/22 for 262 yards, 3 TDs, 0 INTs, sacked 0 times, 1 rush for 0 yards, 1 fumble (not lost)

Largest margin of victory
2nd most completions
2nd most attempts
2nd most yards
T-2nd most TDs
1 of 3 to not throw a pick
The only one to not be sacked.

I can't see the name Marc Bulger without thinking about Kyle Turley interrupting that interview & telling everyone to shut up.

One of the guys who made the NFL better to watch.
