lol stupid nick mullens had an easy first down if he ran for it on 4th down, but he forces it deep down field.

Jimmy should be back to full speed by 2020.

I hope they don't do it but, won't surprise me if Lynch drafts another QB as insurance early in the draft after winning an extra game and moving down the draft order

I'm not against drafting another QB. Jimmy isn't a proven commodity.

Not a lot of QBs in this draft whom I like, though.

NFL players are almost never the same the year after an ACL tear. I have a feeling 2019 will be a pretty mediocre year.

It usually takes the year after to return to form.

That would be a terrible idea. The 9ers are paying Jimmy G a lot of money, plus Mullens has played pretty good considering his experience. Not going to happen.

how much does ACl effect QBs relative to other postions though? I know it could effect how they plant their foot to pass, and maybe move around the pocket, but to what extent? I'm far from an expert on it, but i feel like it would be easier for a QB to come back and be effective than a position that relies on speed and agility like RB WR CB etc.

It is easier for a QB than other positions, but some QBs are never the same after an ACL tear. Every injury is different.
