Demarcus Robinson also dropped a wide open pass, what would have been an easy 3rd down conversion.

Actually I think KC is way way more dangerous. Kelcey, Hill and other fast guys with Mahomes arm talent are harder to defend than Lamar.

There was no way Lamar was going to break off 40 yard runs every game in the NFL, especially in the playoffs. And Ravens don’t have WR weapons, though their TEs are effective if Lamar can buy time.

Ravens offense sustained that running game for most of the season but just like teams caught onto the wildcat, which caused havoc at first, I think teams are going to play contain on Lamar. He still has good enough accuracy to do damage if he has time but he’s not elite in the pocket or rolling outside like Mahomes.

Stylistically Jackson is a far tougher challenge for our defense than Mahomes. Our defense thrives when facing drop back passers but struggles against more mobile guys. Mahomes is your drop back passer without the speed to outrun our DL like Jackson, Wilson, Murray, etc.

The fact that the KC has an awful OL and the Chiefs favor the pass heavily means that KC is going to have rough game. The games where KC has really struggled are the games where the opposing defense can really get after the QB and hit Mahomes early and often.

Mahomes makes plenty of passes on the run. I've seen him drop dimes while on a full sprint.

He beat the 49ers for at least one TD running around buying time in the red zone last year.

No, he isn't going to break off a 40 yard run but he's kind of like Wilson, he can extend the play.

But looks like Chiefs are done.

Chiefs are down 24 and they're celebrating after each first down.

Oh finally scored.

But too big of a hole?

Whom would you rather face? I’d be hoping for Houston. Titans are hot right now with Tannehill.

Houston intimidated by Texans while 17 points up, tries a lame fake punt.

Now it's 24-14.

See what I'm saying about how dangerous KC is?

14 unanswered points for the Chiefs. Man, O’brien sucks. A fake punt on your own 35 yard line?? WTF?

Two of Mahomes' 3 TD passes created on the run, buying more time.

He is dangerous when he gets out of the pocket. Even more than Lamar because he wants to throw it downfield, not run for it.

Now he's running for big yards when Texans play zone and the ends do an inside move on the pass rush, losing contain.

Another TD pass off the run.

At this rate, the Chiefs are going to score around 50 points.

Any team that plays the Chiefs will have to put up over 30 at least, unless they can sustain a 4-man pass rush big for all game.

Chiefs may score 55 points in a playoffs game.

Texans paid Watt like $50-60 million. Obviously Watt alone isn't enough. But can they improve that defense? They're going to have to pay Watson soon and if they haven't paid Hopkins, they'll have to.

49ers have to be wary about using too much of their cap for their DL. A 9-figure deal (with $50-60 million guaranteed) to one defensive lineman or edge rusher may be possible but if you have to pay two of them, they're not going to be able to keep studs in other positions.

Belldozer was making some plays for the Chiefs today. A bit frustrating watching guys like Bell and K. Smith making plays on other teams while we've got Toilolo as our second TE. Seems like we've let a lot of TEs walk who have caught on and played pretty well elsewhere (Delanie Walker, of course, but also guys like Derek Carrier, the two above, etc.).

Nice start; Seattle doesn’t look like they can hang with the Packers’ D very well.

Wilson seems to have a tendency to keep plays alive to try to hit a big play, which is typically a 50-50 ball.

Maybe not having Baldwin, not to mention the injury to the TE has forced him to go for big plays rather than moving the chains. Especially after injuries to the RBs too.

But it can be like an NBA player trying to hit dagger 3s too much. Great if you hit them but they're lower percentage.

21-3 Packers at halftime. If they follow our script from yesterday, having the bye week should show up even more in the second half and I would think the Packers should be able to run more against a tired Seahawks front four as the game wears on.

I like how we matchup with the Packers more especially our pass rush against Rodgers
