I think Adams will be much better against the 49ers this time.

Main thing is to keep Rodgers under control. He also tries to extend plays and try to go for the big plays.

Same here. They don’t have any scary, game-breaking weapons on offense nor a dominant OL. Niners Luxor’s put that Seattle was so banged up on the road today.

Seeing Will Redmond on the field for Green Bay warms my heart. :)

Adams having a huge game. If he gets time to make double moves like on that long TD, it will be a long day.

Green Bay's defense looks like trash. They are going to blow this lead and lose the game.

Seattle going to go ahead on this drive.

What was the lead, 21-3?

GB kept shedding good players after that SB win while maxing out Rodgers' salary. That is why the Packers haven't gone back to the SB since.

The scary part for Green Bay is that Staley, Ford, Gould, Kwon all weren't in the Week 12 matchup.

And they were coming off a bye week so they were rested coming into the game.

Niners are easily going to the SB. :-D 8-) And as long as they don't lose anyone great to injury, I don't see any way the AFC teams can hang with 'em.

Although, Tennessee is still a relative unknown because they've only had Tannehill for a short period of time. So anything can happen...

Kansas City would scare me but we do have the recipe to beat them.

Run the ball down their throats to shorten the game and keep Mahomes on the sideline and we had the #1 ranked pass defense this season by a pretty good margin.

Well the Packers-Seahawks game went just about perfectly for the Niners. I actually started rooting for the Hawks after the Packers jumped out to a big lead because I wanted a hard-fought, physical game. And that's exactly what we got. Packers were getting completely out-physicalled (pretty confident that's not a word, but I'm sure you'd hear a commentator say it) and basically dominated late in the game. They had several guys go down with injuries - something I was not at all hoping for, but I'll take them having to play banged up (didn't look like anyone had a serious injury). They eked out a win on a third-down conversion that wouldn't have stood if it had been called properly on the field (granted they probably pick up the first down with a sneak on 4th). And they still managed to beat the Hawks and advance.

What a limp note to advance on, though. Seven points in the second half and their final three drives accounted for 73 total yards (42 on that final, desperation drive) while the Hawks had three consecutive TD drives of 69 yards or more. The Hawks did that despite being totally unable to run on a bad run D (39 rushing yards on 15 attempts by RBs). And imagine how much more tense it would have been if Seattle had hit that FG they missed.

GB is going to come into SF reeling a bit, and as we saw previously, they can't hang with the Niners when they're clicking. We can't take anything at all for granted, but we should be able to win this one going away. Their run D is suspect, and their offense can become extremely one-dimensional, as we saw today. If Lazard is out, they basically only have Adams and Jones as offensive weapons, with a little Graham sprinkled in for good measure. Road to the SB leads through SF, baby!

Especially on a shorter week than the Niners while travelling across the country when half the team has the flu.

I really like our chances. We'll take away Aaron Jones and make Green Bay one dimensional like the last meeting. Except this time around we'll have Ford and Alexander for this matchup.

I forgot that we didn't have Ford in that first matchup. Oh man....

Adams can cause trouble.

So can the Smith brothers.

Can't take them too lightly. They won 13 games and after the game against the 49ers they played well and may have been unbeaten since.

Adams was also just coming back from a major injury in that game too. He's healthy and very very good.

They haven't lost a game since losing to the Niners, but they also had a cakewalk schedule. They played the Giants, Redskins, Bears, Vikings, and Lions. The Vikings were the only team that was even decent in that span, and they were without Cook and Mattison. Not to mention it was a Monday night. Then they played the Hawks at home, following a bye, with a pretty depleted Hawks team - particularly along the OL and at RB, which are the Packers' weaknesses, and they almost blew a three-score lead.

We can't discount the Packers. They won a lot of games, their D is solid and can really get after the QB, and they have Aaron Rodgers at QB. But the Niners are rightly heavy favorites. They are just the more talented team, playing at home, after a much less physical matchup in the divisional around.
