LAVISKA SHENAULT
WR, JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

Laviska Shenault caught 7-of-8 targets for 79 yards in Week 5 against the Texans.

Shenault led Jacksonville in targets but was held out of the end-zone for the fourth straight week. His role continues to grow as the No. 2 option behind D.J. Chark, and he now has at least 70 total yards in three of the last four games. With Chark leaving with an ankle injury in the fourth quarter, Shenault could be in line for a big Week 6 role.

HENRY RUGGS
WR, LAS VEGAS RAIDERS

Henry Ruggs caught 2-of-3 targets for 118 yards and one touchdown in the Raiders' Week 5 win over the Chiefs.

Ruggs missed the previous two weeks with a pulled hamstring but made his presence felt in a big way in his return, dusting the secondary for a 72-yard touchdown grab in the second quarter. Derek Carr doesn't take many shots downfield, unfortunately, because we'd love to see Ruggs get more deep balls thrown his direction. His three targets were tied for third on the team behind Darren Waller and Jalen Richard. Ruggs can run by anyone, but his volume is a question mark. Ruggs gets the bye and will then face the Bucs as an upside WR4 in Week 7.

JAMES ROBINSON
RB, JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

James Robinson had 13 carries for 48 yards and caught 5-of-7 targets for 22 yards in Week 5 against Houston.

This was Robinson's worst game after going over 100 total yards the last three weeks. The Jaguars continued to chase points in the second half, and Robinson was held in check on his 18 touches. Robinson lost a fumble when he was sacked on a wildcat pass on fourth down. He didn't get any red-zone chances this week, with Jacksonville throwing it four straight times inside the five-yard line. There should be better gamescripts for Robinson when the Jaguars defense gets healthy. Robinson has a matchup with the Lions in Week 6.

CHASE CLAYPOOL
WR, PITTSBURGH STEELERS

Chase Claypool caught 7-of-11 targets for 110 yards and three touchdowns in the Steelers' Week 5 win over the Eagles, adding a rushing touchdown on three carries.

Claypool stepped up with three scores through the air and an extra touchdown on the ground while Diontae Johnson was sidelined with a back injury. He also had a chance at another long play but was called for offensive pass interference. No Steelers receiver outside of Claypool saw more than five targets. Because he was so clearly the No. 1 wide receiver in this game, Claypool should be rostered in every league and could even be worth starting if Johnson is out for Week 6 when Pittsburgh faces the Browns.

JOE BURROW
QB, CINCINNATI BENGALS

Joe Burrow completed 19-of-30 passes for 183 yards, zero touchdowns and an interception in the Bengals' 27-3, Week 5 loss to the Ravens, also losing a fumble.

Burrow got taken to school in this one, absorbing seven sacks as he ran for his life vs. the Ravens' elite front. Burrow's protection was bad, but his decision-making was equally so, as he routinely held onto the ball for too long. He took more than one thundering sack from behind. Burrow was lucky to escape with only two turnovers. His interception was a horrible decision vs. a free rusher, as he "threw the ball away" off his back foot over the middle of the field. It was easily picked off over a disinterested A.J. Green. Burrow took such a pounding that the Bengals almost exclusively ran the ball in fourth quarter garbage time, saving Burrow and setting up a field goal to prevent a shutout. Today was a humbling reminder of how far Burrow has to go, and how difficult it will be to get there behind this group of blockers. Things won't get any easier against the Colts next Sunday.

TEE HIGGINS
WR, CINCINNATI BENGALS

Tee Higgins played more offensive snaps than any Bengals wide receiver in Week 6 against the Colts.

The rookie caught 6-of-8 targets for a season-high 125 yards against a stout Colts secondary, including a 67-yard catch that set up an early Joe Mixon touchdown. It's been clear for some time that Higgins had passed A.J. Green in the Bengals' pass catching pecking order; we might see Higgins emerge as the team's No. 1 wideout in the coming weeks if he continues to command high-value targets. It'll be hard to bench Higgins in 12-team leagues this week against the Browns.

BRANDON AIYUK
WR, SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

Brandon Aiyuk caught 2-of-3 targets for 12 yards and a touchdown in Week 6 against the Rams.

This was a quiet night for Aiyuk outside of his touchdown — a third down pass at the two-yard line. It’s the first receiving touchdown for Aiyuk, who has two rushing scores. Aiyuk was out-targeted by both George Kittle (10) and Deebo Samuel (6). He's a low-floor WR4 for a matchup with the Patriots in Week 7.

MYLES GASKIN
RB, MIAMI DOLPHINS

Myles Gaskin rushed 18 times for 91 yards in the Dolphins' Week 6 win over the Jets.

He caught all four of his targets for 35 yards in the passing game. With the Dolphins crushing the Jets 24-0, Gaskin was able to set a season high in rushing yards, and his 18 carries were the second-most of his young season. He has at least 20 touches in three of the last four games. Gaskin has settled in as a solid RB2 ahead of the bye before a date with the Rams in Week 8.

LAVISKA SHENAULT
WR, JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

Laviska Shenault caught 3-of-7 targets for 10 yards in the Jaguars' Week 6 loss to the Lions, "adding" a one-yard rush.

With the hype growing coming off back-to-back 79-yard receiving efforts, Shenault took a backseat to Keelan Cole and D.J. Chark. Cole went off for 143 yards while Chark drew 14 targets. Shenault has done well to establish his upside, but his floor remains close to zero points. He will be a risk/reward WR4 for Week 7 vs. the Chargers.

COLE KMET
TE, CHICAGO BEARS

Bears TE Cole Kmet caught 2-of-2 targets for 20 yards and a touchdown in the Bears' Week 6 win over the Panthers.

This was Kmet's first NFL touchdown, as the No. 43
overall pick has made more of an impact in the running game than passing game through six weeks. Until Matt Nagy shows more of a willingness to involve Kmet, he will not be in the fantasy conversation despite the total lack of options at the position this season.

Tua Tagovailoa
QB, Miami Dolphins

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Dolphins will start first-round rookie Tua Tagovailoa in Week 8 against the Rams.

This decision is so abrupt that it had to be the organization's blueprint all along. Ryan Fitzpatrick has played well to this point, engineering the Dolphins to a 3-3 record with 1,670 total yards and a 70% completion rate through six games, but Tagovailoa was always the heir to the throne at some point this year — that point being when the team returns from its bye in Week 8. Tagovailoa should be scooped up for 2-QB and SuperFlex leagues during fantasy players' next waivers run.

TYLER JOHNSON
WR, TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS

Tyler Johnson caught both of his targets for four yards and a touchdown in Tampa Bay's Week 7 win over the Raiders.

Johnson has taken a backseat in Tampa Bay's offense since both Chris Godwin (9/88/1) and Scotty Miller (6/109/1) have returned healthy the past two weeks, totaling 3/11/2 receiving off the bench in that stint. His lone touchdown catch on Sunday helped cap the Bucs' 21-0 run to put the Raiders away in the final quarter. Johnson isn't an option for re-draft leagues as long as Godwin and Miller are healthy but is a clear priority stash in dynasty formats.

JAMYCAL HASTY
RB, SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

JaMycal Hasty rushed nine times for 56 yards in the 49ers' Week 7 win against the Patriots, adding one catch for 16 yards.

Hasty, looking as explosive as he did in last week's win against the Rams, gained most of his yards after Jeff Wilson exited with what appeared to be a serious ankle injury. Raheem Mostert and Wilson being out for the 49ers would open up early down opportunity for Hasty next week against the Seahawks. He should be treated as a high-end RB3 in Week 8.

LAVISKA SHENAULT
WR, JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

Laviska Shenault caught 3-of-3 targets for 44 yards in the Jaguars' Week 7 loss to the Chargers.

Shenault added another play to his highlight reel by making multiple defenders miss with unique strength, but it's not enough volume to bank on in standard-sized fantasy leagues for now. His three targets were tied for third on the team behind D.J. Chark (7) and James Robinson (6). Shenault is a worthwhile bench hold in the event that he's utilized more or the offense figures things out. For now, he's a WR5.

Another player that I really liked this year coming out The draft, Albert O

ALBERT OKWUEGBUNAM
TE, DENVER BRONCOS

Albert Okwuegbunam caught 7-of-7 targets for 60 yards in the Broncos' Week 7 loss to the Chiefs.

Even with Noah Fant back from his ankle injury, "Albert O" tied his fellow seam stretcher for the team lead in targets. Drew Lock is lost right now, and he seems to be retreating to the comfort of his college teammate, who does have the tools to be a big-play and red-zone threat. Of course, with Fant back, Okwuegbunam's current targets pace — 13 in two games — can't possibly keep up. Okwuegbunam is a bottom-basement TE2 flier in an awful year for the position.

JAMES ROBINSON
RB, JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

James Robinson rushed 22 times for 119 yards and a touchdown plus caught 4-of-6 passes for 18 yards and a touchdown in the Jaguars' Week 7 loss to the Chargers.

Robinson has been the most productive rookie running back, and he went undrafted. He was essentially the entire offense for Jacksonville on Sunday, creating yards after contact on the ground and beating defenders to the edge for a receiving score. Robinson's day was aided by the fact that there wasn't a true healthy backup running back, but he's earned high-end RB2 treatment and can spike for RB1 outings despite the inconsistent offense. The Jaguars' next opponent, the Texans, have been exposed by running backs all season.

JERRY JEUDY
WR, DENVER BRONCOS

Jerry Jeudy caught 2-of-4 targets for 20 yards in the Broncos' Week 7 loss to the Chiefs.

With KJ Hamler (hamstring) back from his marathon injury absence, Jeudy posted his fewest yards of the season. With Drew Lock playing exceptionally poorly, Jeudy has only 52 yards across his past two appearances. Lock is making it impossible for Jeudy to carve out reliable WR4 value. That will include for Week 8 vs. the Chargers.

KJ HAMLER
WR, DENVER BRONCOS

KJ Hamler caught 2-of-3 targets for 24 yards in the Broncos' Week 7 loss to the Chiefs.

Active for the first time since Week 3 after recovering from a hamstring injury, Hamler might as well have been wearing a lanyard that said "rookie," as his missed connection was an inaccurate Drew Lock pass that Hamler bounced into the air for an interception. Again, it was not a good throw, but Hamler needed to put a better effort on it. On one of the grabs he did make, Hamler attempted an ill-fated hurdle that nearly got him killed. Despite his big-play upside, Hamler will be off the WR4 radar for Week 8 against the Chargers.

JOSHUA KELLEY
RB, LOS ANGELES CHARGERS

Joshua Kelley rushed 12 times for 29 yards in the Chargers' Week 7 win over the Jaguars.

On paper, this was a good spot for the running game, but only Justin Herbert found success on the ground and that came on scrambles. The Chargers' offensive line remains one of the worst in the NFL, so it will be difficult for this two-back committee to find any sort of floor week to week. Kelley is being used mostly as a rusher while Justin Jackson (five carries, six targets) is the primary back on passing downs. The Chargers are headed to Denver next.

CLYDE EDWARDS-HELAIRE
RB, KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

Clyde Edwards-Helaire rushed eight times for 46 yards and a touchdown in the Chiefs' Week 7 win over the Broncos, adding a 17-yard reception.

Fantasy managers wanted answers on how Edwards-Helaire and Le'Veon Bell might split work in the Chiefs' backfield. They didn't really get them in a 43-16 win where the Chiefs scored defensive and special teams touchdowns and ran only 51 offensive plays. CEH won the touch battle 9-6, but he didn't put any daylight between himself and his veteran teammate. Neither back received a true goal-line carry, though CEH handled the rock from the 10 and 11, cashing the latter in for a score. Unfortunately for fantasy players, CEH dropped what should have been a second touchdown on one of three missed connections as a pass catcher. Now a Bell revenge game in the Jets is on tap for Week 8. CEH will maintain the RB2 rankings advantage, but his workload will be uncertain in another contest that could get out of hand fast.

Return to San Francisco 49ers
