Good, Seems to have dodged a bullet there. High ankle sprains have the tendency to linger and require a few week recovery, but it definitely could have been worse, considering we never saw him again after getting Xrays.
Since Jimmy is not a running/mobile QB, a high ankle sprain won't impare him as much as it would with some other QB's.

Well dudes from both teams were dropping like flies....
Good thing 9ers play again on the very same field next Sunday. Since no fans are allowed anyways, can they go play at Rutgers stadium or something?

Jimmy G could be out 4-6 weeks
Why us man? Seriously? I don’t see us recovering from losing Bosa & Thomas

Supposedly there is some hope about Thomas not being overly serious. Honestly, he's not that big of a loss anyways, especially with how Givens/Hyder/Jones looked today.

Having the week 4 bye last year sucked, this season it would be beneficial. However, this year its not until week 11.

Yeah but how are we going to replace Bosa? I’m praying it’s not the ACL man, I’m really praying

You can't really. You just hope Dee Ford gets right & and starts to return to the caliber of player he was while he was in KC.

Woah Barkley likely tore his ACL for the Giants... this is one of the weirdest Sundays in NFL history. So many stars going down with injuries.

Re: GDT: wk 2 49ers at NY Jets
How did the Giants and Steelers survive their game from last week?
Jimmy G high ankle sprain
Bosa likely an ACL
Thomas may survive the scare of ACL, lucky ass.
Mostert knee issues but nothing serious

I agree. Our players where already complaining about the field even before the game started, with all the injuries today please sit Kittle.

Hopefully it comes back clean. Those type of sprains could range anywhere from 0 missed games to 3 or 4.

I’m in a bummed mood, yes we won this game but in the long run it feels like we lost.. Nick Bosa out for the season? Man our defense going to take a massive hit & let’s not count out that Jimmy G could miss 4 to 6 weeks. Sheesh man

Re: GDT: wk 2 49ers at NY Jets
Fortunately the 9ers schedule isn't all that scary for the next several weeks.
@ Giants
vs Eagles
vs Dolphins
vs Rams
@ Patriots
Hopefully they can weather this current storm of injuries and emerge from that stretch with a 5-2 record, or at least 4-3. During that stretch we should start to get some important guys back (Kittle, Garoppolo, Mostert, Deebo, Sherman, maybe even Richburg) and hopefully see them have some time to get back into game form. Sadly it seems we won't see Bosa come back at all this season.
Because after that schedule ramps up drastically with:
@ Seattle
vs Packers
@ Saints
@ Rams
That stretch is going to determine what the outlook of the team is this season, and all 4 of those games will be critical to postseason implications. 49ers really need to start this stretch with a winning record and trending towards becoming healthy. If they don't emerge from that stretch at least 6-5, the season will likely be lost.

Those 2 games aren’t going to be a cakewalk...

I don't envision any of those games to be easy. The offense is depleted, and its not hard to imagine the offense struggling to score points with Mullens at the helm. Defense will also be missing its best DLineman & best DB.
But yeah to touch on the games you specifically mentioned, the Fins have looked like a tougher opponent so far this season and the Rams look like they could be having a bounce back type of season.
