Hmm, how many rushes did Deebo have?
I don't recall the score but it was in the fourth quarter with the game somewhat in hand?

Damn.
Not having their best offensive player and 2nd best defensive player going into Seattle is going to be tough to overcome.
I know Seattle is reeling and will be coming off a short week, but the Hawks seem to have Frisco's number and have won 14 out of the last 16 meetings.

Even though the Hawks have been struggling, Wilson is still elite at throwing the deep ball, which aligns perfectly with the weakness we have in the secondary. A few big passes could be more than enough to give Seattle the W. And Wilson is still capable of picking up first downs with his legs on 3rd and 10; not having Warner patrolling the middle hurts us in those demoralizing scenarios.

The 2 least wanted QB options for the 9ers top the list.
Also of note, Stafford played quite poorly last month.

Jones has played well but the Pats are playing well with the running game and defense causing a lot of turnovers.
Some more astute observers question the lack of arm talent. I think his numbers when throwing more than 20 yards downfield isn't so great.
Pats have a good system. Matt Cassell had a good year for them the one year Brady was injured. Jimmy has also had some very good games for them, which is why the 49ers gave up a second round pick -- probably an overpay.

QB rating overstates the significance of completion percentage and the connected YPA number. Not to say that those are meaningless by any means, but it's not as complete a picture as some of the newer rating scales. Jimmy and Mac Jones have been very solid on successful teams, but they aren't asked to do nearly as much as a lot of the QBs who fall lower on the list.
That said, if his strong November gets us trade offers for Jimmy this offseason, I'll take it.

I think there's very little doubt they could have drafted Jones if they stayed put. I think they arguably could have gotten Lance without trading up, but obviously we'll never know. Certainly they could have had Fields with a much more modest trade up than the one they made.
I think it's very premature to anoint Jones as being better than Lance or any of the other QBs. He's in a great system, has a great defense to take the pressure off, good OL, and if not elite playmakers, a pretty deep and solid group. His team leans on the run. He isn't asked to do all that much. I'll be interested to see how he progresses. I thought he had enough arm to be a good NFL player, but he'll have to develop his deep ball the way Brady and Brees did. But he's smart, makes quick decisions, and is very accurate. Lance has plenty to prove to show that he's Jones' equal, much less better than him.
