2021-22 CF Season/2022 NFL draft
Harbaugh finally wins Big 10 title but in the playoffs game, #3 GA is showing that SEC talent is on another level than the Big 10.
Probably will be able to stay at Michigan a few more years just on beating OSU this year but this is about his ceiling with Michigan, because top talent are still going to keep choosing SEC programs, with their lower academic standards.
Is he going to settle for NCAA football or take another crack at the NFL? He's not getting any younger.
At least in the NFL, he has a better chance for more level playing field as far as rosters.

Harbaugh said after GA defeated MI that he's fine with where he is.
That was a few days ago.
Now there's some chatter that he may be looking at the NFL. Some linking him to the Bears and the Raiders.

Miami fires it's HC.
Owner Steve Ross tried to hire Harbaugh before. But says he will not be the one who hires Harbaugh away from his alma mater University of Michigan.

If he falls to us in the second round, I wouldn’t mind using a pick on him. I was hoping George Pickens goes under the radar this year, but now it appears as though the entire football world knows who he is. His stock is going up and up.

Kiper’s mock draft has no QB in the top 10 and no CB or WR until #8.
So not a great class?

Don't suppose you want to post it?
Got to assume a QB will go higher than 10, but hopefully the lack of talent boosts Jimmy's stock.

Saw it on TV they posted the top 10. Web site has an article but it’s behind a paywall and I don’t have a sub.
I think Kiper and McShay do have a podcast that’s free to subscribe to and it updated the other day. They put it out whenever they update their mocks and closer to the draft.
Top two guys were the DEs from Michigan (Hutchinson) and Oregon. Then I think some OL and a S before it was a CB at #8.

No sweat. Niners won't pick until well into the 50s anyway, pending a Garoppolo trade. Not a year I'm going to be really diving into the draft.

RB class is weak, WR class is weak, QB class is weak. But loaded on defensive talent. One of the better cornerback (not in terms of depth) class though.

This kid didn’t accomplish much of anything throughout his collegiate career, but he’s extremely athletic and was a 5 star recruit coming out of high school. I really think we should look into drafting in the 6th or 7th round. Jennings is a FA next year and this kid is someone we can develop to be that dominant #2 or #3 receiver that we desperately need.

At this point giving up that future 1st stings a whole lot less as at worst it'd be like the 29th or 30th pick in the draft.
What a steal that would be if in the end the Lance pick basically ended up costing two late round 1sts and a comp 3rd rounder.

Yessir!!!
Like I mentioned in another thread awhile back, their QB plan is playing out pretty much exactly how they had hoped.
Now 9ers just got to go finish it, and parlay #32 to Miami.

The plan will be complete when Miami trades #32 back to them for Garoppolo.

I hope we can get more middle round picks, we seem to hit on those pretty often.

Re: 2021-22 CF Season/2022 NFL draft
Miami will officially receive pick #29 from San Francisco.
Its going to be very interesting to what kind of draft picks they will get in trade for Garoppolo. If they can get like a mid 2nd round rounder, that would be great and would only be like 15-20 spots lower than the pick they gave for Lance.
Of course, we'll have to wait awhile and see where the 1st round pick the 9ers will give to Miami in 2023 falls.

God I hope we can find a better RG and RT (even those I know Mike will be given his spot back) in the draft or free agency.

I really wish they wouldn't have picked up McGlinchey's option.
While Mike's run blocking is much better than Compton's, their pass protection is more or less the same caliber.

Too bad he’s going end up being drafted in the first round:
