With Ambry & Lenoir inactive, 9ers are short on CB's.

Looks like they are going to have to rely on Norman and Johnson (ugh) and we'll probably see some Dennard as well.

My optimism took a big hit with the Thomas news. Kind of shocking to think about, given where we were a month ago. But Norman and Johnson are so bad.

We need to add at least two more starting-caliber CBs this offseason.

I'm surprised that Jordan Willis is active since supposedly he suffered a high ankle sprain last week.

Probably going to need him, because the D Line is going to have to BRING IT tonight. The secondary isn't looking real promising going into this game. Going to need to constantly throw fresh pass rush juice at Rodgers tonight, so having Willis helps.

Of course we all would love for this to improve to 25-8, 14-5 after tonight

I was feeling pretty good about tonight, and I'm still not despondent, but I expected Thomas and Moseley to both play. We don't even have a replacement-level player.

Without Thomas, only way 49ers win is with a run the clock running attack. In the end, I'm going to guess 34 to 28 Packers. Rodgers with the last drive and TD

With this team the best offensive lineman being out means we'll manage to get 0 pressure.

Who would've thought we'd be saying Thomas being out is a big blow within a month.

Hurts he's not out there but doesn't change the fact our real only winning scenario is dominating running the ball and dominating TOP.

Just said as much to my dad. It's not so much that Thomas is that good. It's more that what is behind him is streaming garbage.

I was thinking they should run double man coverage on Adams all game and live with whatever Lazard does on the other side. But with either Johnson or Norman now on the other side, that changes things. Lazard and Rodgers will eat either of those guys alive in single man.

Got to get pressure on every single play. Feels like we're playing with house money in this one, so let's see what they can do. Offense has got to show up.
