Week 11: 49ers vs Cardinals in Mexico City

Crazy that the Cardinals had to sacrifice a home divisional game, but here we are. It projects to be a very pro 49er crowd as well.

9ers really need to take advantage of that benefit, and bring home the W.

A win tonight would elevate the 9ers to the division lead, and all but eliminate 'Zona from division contention. 9ers would essentially have a 4 game lead on the Cards & Rams considering the tiebreakers. So it would a 2 horse race with Seattle for the division, with 9ers holding the current tiebreaker and being 4-0 in the division.

So yeah, need a win tonight....

Colt McCoy expected to draw the start, and Hollywood Brown did not get activated. Byron Murphy being out is also a break for the 9ers.

Rain means we should get a heavy dose of our running game; let's hope our O-line is up for it.

Our blocking on punts sucks. As do our coverage units. Do these guys even practice?

They keep mentioning "inadvertently tripped him up" but those hands in Jennings' back sure looked like he pushed him.

The rain completely caused that to be a touchback. Had it been dry, it’s stopped on the 1

Yeah it was a PI

The feet did get a little tangled up, but Jennings was clearly pushed down.

At the very least it should have been illegal contact downfield

Why were we playing so far off of him?

I don't even care about the hands all that much. He literally ran up Jennings' back. That should not be legal.
