Coleman being elevated could be an indicator that Mitchell is sitting on the pessimistic side of questionable.

Would much prefer not having to make my weekly post at halftime today expressing how the running game was ineffective in the 1st half. Ball control and dictating game flow will be key in this game.

Also would like to not have to talk about the kickoff coverage being crap either.

My SWAG. It's a tight defensive battle. Niners hold Hurts in check except for one long td pass. Our run game gets going in the 4th with cmc and deebo and we win on a a late field goal, 16-13.

Mitchell being out is bad news. Probably going to need Mason to step in and produce for a few plays. Probably going to deploy Deebo a bit more than usual in the running game as well.

Interesting that Coleman is active ahead of Davis-Price. Man what ANOTHER un-inspiring 3rd round RB pick that was.

Also, noteworthy that Jackson is inactive again. He has yet to be active for a playoff game. Makes some sense with Philly having a solid running attack, but the D could definitely use some more pass rush juice as well. But Jackson won't be in uniform, so somebody is going to have to step up and give Bosa some pass rush help. After his unfortunately eventful week, maybe Omenihu will be extra motivated and have a solid performance. Would be nice if Armstead provided some push up front as well.

Really need them to step up. A big part of our running success has been how well Mitchell has been able to spell CMC not only for rest to stay fresh but to confuse the defense with a change-of-pace attack. Mason needs to do the same; time to put the big boy pants on.

Here we go. No Mitchell hurts, but we will get it!
