Hoping to see what young players can do in this game as they will get more playing time. Unfortunately that likely means not Jacob Cowing as he is still buried on the depth chart and is only a PR. Wish they also active Tariq Owens. But oh well.

I actually think we could take this game. Game means nothing to the Lions because they still have to win next week regardless of what happens tonight. Probably won't get their A game.

Like last week, I'll DVR the game and watch it at some point in the next few days.

When my team is out of the playoffs, I don't feel any urgency or much desire to catch the games live. Doing it that way, also allows you to FFWD through the commercials and halftime, so you can watch it in less than 2 hours. So that's a bonus.

As others have mentioned, at this point you just hope to get the youth some meaningful snaps and hope they play well, as well as hope to get everybody to the finish line healthy.

I'm not sure what how much lead time is required for the league to flex prime time games, but I'm kind of surprised that tonight's matchup was not flexed out.

SF has been effectively eliminated from playoff contention for a few weeks now, and officially eliminated since before last week's game. That said, flexing a Monday night game probably requires more lead time than just flexing out a Sunday night matchup.

Going into the season, this matchup had a lot of sizzle as a NFCCG rematch, unfortunately SF pooped the bed this season and this game has zero postseason implications.

Is it bad to root for the Lions tonight?

Where was this play calling and courage to go for it all season?

At least the defense still looks recognizable to the one we've seen all season.

Lions don't care about this game. They are already thinking about next week.

Given that most of our OL this game should be pictured on milk cartons, seems to me that everyone not named Trent or Puni should probably not be a given to return as a starter next season.
