Kris Jenkins on the chopping block?

Rumor from the Charlotte Observer says that the Pathers are looking to move DT Kris Jenkins and hoping for a good 3rd round pick for him.

I think we should make a move at him if this is true. He's had some weight and injury issues, but he's still a premier run stuffer who would be perfect at the nose tackle for us. Plus we have enough depth (Sopoaga/Franklin) to give him good rest and keep him off the IR.

If we could swing a 3rd for Jenkins and draft Willis #11 we would be a beastly defensive unit.

A premiere run stuffer isn't that good if he can not stay healthy enough to be on the field. So I'll have to pass on that.

I would definitly give up a pick to get Jenkins. That would be a for sure plus!

i would deff give up a 3rd round pick. id even add a 6th orsomething. That would deff be worth the game. High Reward low risk as we have so many pics early in this years draft.

Exactly. We've got what, 5 first day picks? Giving up one of our later ones for a guy who is one of the best NTs in the league is a no-brainer IMO.
