First unit offense will play 15 snaps or entire first quarter, which ever comes first. Looks like Sopoaga will get the call an Nose. Hicks and Robinson will split time with the first unit. Robinson will see additional time in 3rd down package through the first half. Dilfer to play through end of the first half and Hill should get all of the second half.

1st quarter observations:
Defense
Banta Cain with some nice pressure.
A severe lack of wrapping up on tackles
Offense
Smith looks very decisive and sure of himself.
Lame Harris already gave up a sack
It's gonna be tough for Clayton to take Hicks out of a roster spot.
Special Teams
Brandon Williams ran north and south on a punt return

It was a good game. A few players didnt play that I was looking forward to watching, but thats alrite. ALex Smith looked good as well as our offensive line. It was nice having WRs for once. Our defense wasn't that great in the begining but you cant buy to much into pre-season. We wasted our chances of winning but its pre-season. We will start off the winning season on Saturday.

The Good
-Alex looked sharp
-Hicks and Robinson ran the ball well
-Tarrell Brown caught my eye, he broke on a pass route for an int very nicely.
The Bad
Missed tackles stopping the run
Thomas Clayton runs like Kevan Barlow, terrible sign.
The Ugly
Shaun Hill blowing it deep in the red zone twice.
Arkee Whitlock running the football
On a sidenote Brandon Williams did a solid job returning kicks.

Interesting to note: Taylor Jacobs was playing on the 2nd team, while Lelie was with the 3rd team. I think they have to keep 6 WR's, even though Nolan said it may be only 5. It looks like Williams is a lock because of the return game. But, you can't cut Jacobs (playing well) or Lelie (too much signing bonus).

That is right on the money!
Robinson and Kicks both looked good so we wont be usuing him any time soon, hopefully we wont have to use Mo or Michael in the reg season...
