San Francisco 49ers v. Seattle Seahawks Game Thread

Post#1 » by TMACFORMVP » Sat Sep 29, 2007 2:12 am

Maybe it's a bit early but I have some time on my hands and didn't see a thread or a post saying if somebody had a specific job to make the thread. If so, I apologize.

Key Match-Up

Record
49ers 2-1 Last Game: L against Steelers
Seahawks 2-1 Last Game: W against Bengals

My View (If you care lol)

The Seahawks have really looked great last week. Their defense did a great job on the high octane offensive Bengals forcing Palmer to 2 INTs and forcing Rudi Johnson who IMO is one of the top backs in the league to 17 rushes for 9 yards!! Their offense looked on target as well, Hassleback looked real sharp and Alexander rushed over 100 yards. Engram and Burleson (towards the end) also looked real reliable as well. Saying all this over the past couple years we have matched real well against them and it should be real close. Frankly me being a more pessimistic person I have a bad feeling about the game but wouldn't be surprised to win.

Finally............

Frank Gore vs Speedy Claxton?

Yes, it a big game. It's not do or die. But, if they lose, next week against Baltimore will be must win.

I don't have a good feeling about this one.

Who do we lose next week, Willis or Gore?
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

Absolutely pathetic.

All of the offensive coaches need to be fired.

I know Smith got hurt, but honestly, is he really THAT important to our offense? Sure, he's our starting QB, but his numbers are so terrible that I'm sure Dilfer could have stepped in and made a difference...if our OL line wasn't filled with a bunch of **** retards. They only rushed 3 at times and STILL sacked us.

**** pathetic. :banghead:

EDIT: Our D looks good this year though *sigh*

Well whats the story with Alex, anything serious? I mean it must have been something they were worried about if he sat the rest of the game
