Justin Smiley is off to Miami.

There is word that the 49ers have agreed to terms with QB J.T. O'Sullivan (Lions), LB Dontarrious Thomas (Vikings) and RB DeShaun Foster (recently cut by the Panthers). Terms of these deals are not known.

We also signed Allen Rossum

Here are some of the terms.

CB Allen Rossum (Steelers - 1-yr, $870,000)
RB DeShaun Foster (cut by the Panthers - 2-yr / $1.8 mil)
QB J.T. O'Sullivan (Lions - 1-yr / NFL min w/ $40,000 signing bonus)
LB Dontarrious Thomas (Vikings - 2-yr)

Great signing since they all came cheap. I love the Foster signing since he is only making less than a mill a year.

Isaac Bruce is visiting the Niners today.

The 49ers already have Baas at right guard, so its not a huge loss in that regard. They maybe would have liked to keep him and move him to LG but I'm not sure if it would have been for that price.

I guess the rumors about Briggs were exaggerated. Sounds like Ike Bruce is on the way.

Kwame Harris to Oakland. 5 years/$27.5M with a $10M SB, according to Maiocco.

You could say that about Oakland's other move as well.

Raiders have made some strange moves.

They extremely overpaid for Harris and Kelly.

They are also rumored to be giving Gibril Wilson of the Giants a 5 million dollar per year deal.

Change this to Smiley to avoid confusion. Smith is supposed to show up for a visit today or tomorrow, I think.

I think the Raiders is the answer to your question.

Seriously, Did you have to ask that question after hearing about Tommy Kelly the richest DT in NFL History?

NFL Network says Bruce got 6M for two years. He'll be valuable to the other WR's to help learn Martz's offense.

Just read Maiocco. Smith was supposed to visit Minny today, but Nolan is holding him hostage to take him on a helicopter ride of the South Bay and wine and dine tonight. So, keep your fingers crossed. If nothing else, Nolan seems to be a good salesman.

The San Franciso 49ers and defensive end Justin Smith agreed to a six-year, $45 million contract that included $20 million in guarantees.

Smith, who had played all of his seven previous seasons in the NFL in Cincinnati, was given the franchise tag by the Bengals in 2007.

Smith was the fourth overall pick in the 2001 draft out of Missouri. He has 43

I like the smith signing, i would say overpayed a little. Is get going to be a 3-4 end. Is he gonna stand up sometimes. Are we switching to more of a hybrid and running the 4-3 more? who knows

I thought we were going to sign smith to 8 million per year but I guess it was less than that but we still overpaid but I guess that is what you have to do.

I am not a fan of the signing so Justin Smith is going to have to change my mind.
