Alex Smith

It's time for him to go. I can't see him being a starter here and we need to release him now. Smith needs a fresh start somewhere else and the 49ers need a veteran QB to lead them. Are defense should be very good, but without a proven QB we aren't going anywhere.

agreed, alex smith sucks. He will likely forever suck if he stays a scared little kid in the pocket. Undoubtedly one of the worst draft picks of all time (maybe the worst) and needs to be off the roster. I have been saying this since he was drafted.

Apparently his shoulder's hurt again. Yezus.

I have a not-great feeling about this season.

Our team is TERRIBLE, again. How do you honestly commit that many TO's and only throw one INT? Embrassing.

They're not bringing him back next year. Hopefully, for his sake, he can land in a good spot.

I'll trade you Jon Kitna for him and any other young players the niners don't want.

I'm convinced that Kitna will still start the bulk of the Lions games and I figure the only way to prevent that is to trade him. I'm not looking forward to a 30 touchdown and 30 interception season.
