Brandon Marshall to Seattle?

I'm guessing Denver will let Marshall go and then take Seattle's 1st rounder which would be good for Denver since the organization wants Marshall to be gone anyway. This would be bad for us just because we would have to see him 2 times every year along with Housh.

Makes me hope Haden falls to #13 all the more.

Not to worried, unless Hasselback plays to his former self there shouldnt be to much to worry about. And we still should beat them in that case

I'm not really worried about Brandon Marshall single-handedly turning around the Seahawks because there defense is still atrocious. 49ers should beat Seattle as long as we address our needs or RT and SS in the draft.

Seems like a hefty price to pay for Seattle. If I were them, keep the picks and draft a LT, QB, or DB with those 2 picks.

^ Yeah I heard today that it may be for #6, not #14. Thats VERY steep, especially considering Marshall is such a smackhead. I don't see how Carroll can do that. But a Housh/Marshall combo would be pretty nasty.

if the seahawks decide to do this they are complete idiots. Pete Carroll would not be starting off his head coaching career there on a good note.

Well, they whiffed on Houshyourmama so I suppose they're gonna try round 2 with Marshall. They're fading fast though so I doubt that will be a happy marriage.

Hopefully the Seahawks continue to fade and Carroll screws the team up even more. I'm sure Pete will want to get as many USC guys as possible up there in Seattle with him.

I don't think so. He obviously knows a thing or two about recruiting, so I doubt he'll just poach his old players. Will he take a USC player on the first day though? Probably.

Taylor Mays=Bust. I think that will be his 1st round pick if it's available to him.

Yeah I dislike Mays more and more with each passing day. I hope Carroll drafts him, that way Crabs burns him twice a year

Mays is a workout warrior with no hopes of being a legitimate safety in this league. Like another version of Michael Lewis all over again without the concussions.

He reminds me of Darnell Bing. Great in college because he was so athletic, but doesn't project to a safety at the next level. The Raiders tried Bing at OLB and he sucked. To Mays credit he's much better than Bing is/was and does project to at least try safety for the beginning of his career.

I rather have a cover DB/S like Haden, Earl Thomas rather than an athletic freak who hits hard.

Haden has about an 85% chance of not falling to us. Earl Thomas is likely going to be there.

Just from curosity where is 85% coming from? Don't get me wrong i'd rather have Haden over Mays too, But Mays has just as good as an upside if not more than Haden cause of all his intangibles. I don't know to much on Earl Thomas. I just hope the Niners choose the "right" one not the available one.

Earl Thomas is more of an Eric Berry type. He can cover and he's a good tackler. I would prefer Earl Thomas over Mays even though he doesnt have as much upside. Upside is just another way of saying raw.

It's coming from my head mostly. Every draft site has him gone before our pick though. However, every site had Crabtreezy gone by our pick last year so of course you never know.

Seems like these Brandon Marshall rumors are getting out of control. I'm sure Brandon Marshall probably will get traded on draft day because the Broncos organization views him as too much of a headache already, but until then he will remain a Bronco.
