Prepare to be raided. The Purple Favres are licking their chops at the chance to go 9-1 vs the season-over Seahawks. The Vikings greet the 'Hawks with star power-a-plenty, a great record, and a lot of confidence in themselves.

Last week was probably one of the most encouraging games despite the loss for Seattle as the Seahawks run game showed up the second Jones was carted off with a lung bruise. Forsett was able to keep his giant ypc avg going over a full game and Rankin showed his speed can be a threat. Housh got the damn ball, and Carlson looked like he needed it more.

Injury update:

Seahawks-

Seattle loves injuries at one spot it seems as both Trufant and Wilson are suffering concussions at CB. Mora described the injuries as minor, and considering that it's an injury to a part of their bodies they've seldom used this year, perhaps it is. Wilson did not practice Thrs, while Trufant had full participation.

Julie Jones is also out with a bruised lung.

Vikings
no, not really... who cares anyway.

Things to Watch:

1-Running games- the Vikings are well touted, but can the Seahawks more solid line play and explosive backs look good two weeks in a row?

2-Hawthorne- What stats will make Heater stand out this week?

3-Hasselbroke's health issues. That would be terrible if for some reason, we could preview Mike Teal... or would it? I know, I know- wishful thinking with Wallace available.

Predictions-

The Vikings are just too good and confident, my rosy colored glasses see an upset!
Seattle 41- Vikings 17

The Vikings are overrated -- they've played exactly two games this year against quality opponents (Baltimore and Pittsburgh), they're 1-1 in those games and possibly should be 0-2. The Niners had them on the ropes in Week 2 as well. Everyone but the Lions and Rams has scored at least 20 on them. Still, the way the Seahawks are going, they're just another one of the creampuffs on Minnesota's ridiculous schedule. I'll say 38-31 Vikings.

This team is so hard to watch right now. There's very little that has me upbeat for the future at this point.

Reminds me a lot of the 2008 Mariners

And even the Lions and Rams were able to put up 10 on them. Ugh.

and if you look at it the Chiefs and Raiders ... they have the same freaking record as us. ouch. pretty dismal. I think you pretty much have to axe some people at years end (Ruskell)
