Seahawks fans

Post#1 » by TNBT » Sat Sep 4, 2010 6:46 am

I'm wondering how many of you are from Seattle? Apart from the people I know here on RealGM, I only know one other person living in the United States and she said Seattle is a great place and that it rains a lot. I'm trying to decide where in the US I want to go when I'm on my trip next year, so any info on Seattle would be great, because it is definitely on my list so far.

I live just outside of Seattle. The rain is overstated...this summer was warm consistently and it rained from time to time but nothing major.

Seattle is a pretty great city. I moved over here a couple years ago and had been wanting to do so for quite some time. Great food, good people, and different districts of the city for whatever your mood is.

Thanks for the info mate. I'm obviously Australian so I have never been to the US, but Seattle has always interested me. I'm a Bulls fan first and foremost, but I also liked the Sonics. The Seahawks are one of my favorite NFL teams, I used to love the show Frasier, and I saw a report on the city on a travel show recently where the city looked really cool. Add to that the fact that I'm a Twilight fan who would love to get to that part of the country and check out the wilderness. These may all seem like stupid reasons, but I've never been overseas so this is basically all I have to go on.

Seattle is a great city. I've lived growing up, though I'm in California now. Hard to beat it's beauty and how close lakes, mountains, and a true rain forest is. The culture has alot to offer and by now you're sick of bikinis and tans anyhow, so go find a porcelain white girl in a jacket! Definitely a good place for vampire fetish haha.

It's funny that you should say that, as even though I don't have a "fetish", I do love vampires and the supernatural. As for women in bikinis, I don't think anyone could ever get sick of it, but I'm starting to realize that there can still be some damn fine bodies under jeans and jackets, so I'm open to seeing what Seattle has to offer.

No offense, but there's absolutely nothing in Forks, WA. ;)

Yeah, I figured there would be nothing in Forks. I really want to go out and check out the landscape while I'm there though. I love forests and rivers and stuff. Hopefully I see a bear or wolf or something too.
