Well that was a bit of a moral victory for the D.

At some point here we could use a bomb to Deon Butler for a TD. It's time for this guy to do SOMETHING spectacular, if he's capable of it at all.

Lynch is a big bowl of failure. I want our draft pick back.

What can you say? Lynch is just having an absolutely AWFUL game. Our offense is actually playing well, especially Hasselbeck. It's a shame that we couldn't make a closer game of this.

Looking at the bright side of things...it looks like our division is going to go 0-4 this week. LOL

Hugh Millen had a funny way of putting the Hawks playoff possibility within the context of their division. He said that when you're out hiking with your buddies and you run into a predator, all you have to be able to do is outrun your buddies.

The next two weeks are HUGE for the Hawks. We play against KC and Carolina AT HOME, two very beatable opponents at Quest Field. If we can do what we should do, we can get to 7-5, and be clearly in the driver's seat for the division title.

Why didn't we pass on that 3rd and goal? Why does Pete C suddenly become conservative on 4th down at precisely the time you don't think he should?

These questions of mine...

Some NFL coaches throw a challenge flag when the wrong call was made. Some NFL coaches throw the challenge flag when they simply don't like the outcome of a play. Ours appears to be one of the latter.

Julius Jones for a long run? why not...

And there's a hold...screw you, Jones.

There were things I didn't like about this game. I thought it should have been closer than it was. But I'm not really that down about it. I find some encouragement in it. For one, Hasselbeck and the passing game were pretty damn good. The line also, for the most part, gave him protection, and he mostly made good on it, as did his receivers, sans Lynch.

I'm not tearing my hair out about this loss.

I'm not either. It was frustrating as seemingly every bounce/call/etc. didn't go our way. The team didn't play terribly on the road against the defending Super Bowl champs, while the rest of the NFC West played terribly regardless of the opponent.
