???
The baseball draft thoroughly confuses me.
Players getting drafted more than one time, sandwich picks, like 10 seconds to make a pick, 40000 rounds, etc.

Eh, Navarro is nothing really special at all. Salty could be something special and you guys have too many OF'ers as it is. I don't think Upton will stick at 2nd, from alot of things I've heard he would be better served in the OF. Making way if Longoria can play 2nd, he would be a top 3 2nd baseman every year if he can properly learn the position.

David Price is Mark Prior. You don't pass on him. I know the Devil Rays are cheap and might not want to spend 6 million bucks on a college pitcher, but dude is for real.

Price looks like the no-brainer, however Weiters is very intriguing because of his experience as a C/CP. He understands the game from both sides of the spectrum, which IMO results in him being such an effective hitter, a switch hitter that is.
The only problem with Weiters is that in the majors he will be neither a C or a CP, but instead a 1B/DH. So scouts would have to project how well he would perform at 1B & whether or not he is worth a Top-3 pick do to the questions surrounding where to put him in the field.
Friedman will draft Price though, because the DRays emphasis is on pitching. Drafting Longoria last season looks to make pitching even more so the focus as the first round pick.

I think scouts love Wieters' defense. Only problem is that he's like 6'6". But he's agile, has a quick release and his fastball has been clocked up to 98 apparently.
