John Moffitt traded to Browns

John Moffitt’s tenure with the Seahawks has ended after two seasons as the former third-round draft choice was traded to the Cleveland Browns on Monday for defensive lineman Brian Sanford.

Don't know much about Sanford other than he's been a lot of training camp fights, but it's pretty clear we were going in another direction at guard.

Cleveland sent him back for health reasons so we turned around and sent him to Denver. Pete must have really wanted him gone.

I liked Moffitt, but as was discussed on KIRO on my drive home tonight the guy was an experienced guard who lost the starting guard position to a guy who first learned how to play the position a year ago. I wish him well, but Sweezy's fun to watch. The speed he displays when he pulls is just nuts.
