Danny's .02:
1. New O-Line
What a difference a year makes. New Center, Britt to left guard, and Gilliam makes RT starter.
I expect it to be a learning experience, but they best keep Russ safe and move some chains in the pile.
2. Ol' what's his name at Safety and other Boomy matters
The offseason was largely about getting healthy and about Kam's attempted money grab. Burley got the nod at nickel, as of Tues Dion Bailey is the SS, Earl Thomas has not really done much tackling, and Cary Williams is now a boomer.
I'm guessing that our seemingly awesome front 6 buy these guys a lot of learning curve and healing time, but this is surely the biggest upheaval of faces and recovery the LOB has ever dealt with.
3. Graham...the traditonal TE or preseason bluff?
Jimmy Graham as a blocking TE? Ask Zach Miller, the former pro bowl receiving TE for the Raiders, how serious the Hawks can be about that... but... really? for really real? Seems like a damn shame if we don't see Russ target Jimmy at a clip we haven't seen Seattle target TE's since Christian Fauria.
4. Lockett and Loaded.
The preseason mvp and stunningly quick rookie with coffin nail cuts will be on display in real games now. If he rips off another dynamic play or two, you have to start wondering if he could be very special as a player and a threat for offensive rookie in the year.
