VS.
Game 11- An important game for the Seahawks to win vs a likewise resurgent KC team. Enter a pair of 1st round Safeties who are performing at a high level and flashy Chiefs offense featuring Pete's former bench warmer at the helm being mentored by Pete's old Rival Charlie Weiss.
Injury update:Seahawks-Me- i can walk again, but slipped discs suck. This is surely the revenge of the gods for all the times i referenced severe repeatedly pulled groins and back spazzes.
Cole (DT) still out. Williams(WR) iffy with an weird foot sprain. M-Robinson(FB) is possible with a hammy. Pitts is out with ankle sprain(G) McCoy placed on IR with an ankle(TE).
Chiefsall listed as doubtfull: Albert (OT) overly pulled groin, Lilja(OG) foot, Jon McGraw(FS) head, Dexter McCluster (WR) ankle, Tony Moeaki (TE) head.
Wow we're healthier than someone!
Things to Watch:1-Williams- our stud wr is looking like a no go, Tate is back and Pete says he was great in practice earning some real go time this week. We have been pass happy lately, so expect to see a real test drive of Goldens rookie progress this week with or without BMW.
2-Matt's resurgence- Can Matt continue to look like this is '05?
3-Beast Mode? bad week last week for our man, but you can't say he wasn't running hard. Expect him to get behind Okung with renewed purpose this week early, or else we should use the Force Luke. Justin finished the game in Nawlins looking good, so he should not be forgotten.
4-KC's O-line 2nd stringers vs our crowd noise. I'm hoping for a litany of false starts for the visitors under the circumstances.
5-Run D- the loss of Cole and Bryant has been damaging. We'll need to slow the bleeding if we don't want a rerun of tired DT's vs hard charging rb's.
6-Clem to the dinner wagon. Chris has a legit shot at beating Kerney's best season with us if he do some damage vs their banged up line.
Predictions-24-21 Seattle
Tate reminds us of his potential and Seattle looks surprisingly balanced on offense between running and passing games.

Before I even respond to this week's game, I WILL be disappointed if we don't win both of the next two games at home. Effing Hasselbeck is red-hot now, and our offensive line is actually getting a bit healthier again.
7-5 after 12 games or I'll be P'd off.

The defense looks awful early, and once again we go for it on fourth down with some stupid low-percentage play that fails predictably. god...

Just got home late for the game. Hey, we're supposed to be winning, aren't we?
Obviously, stopping their running game is absolutely key in this game. I think our LB's and Safeties (our second line of defense) must play well in order to win. Our line is weak.

Curry is finally starting to look the beast he's supposed to be the last few games. Nice.

Wow! The 3rd down conversions on that Chief drive killed us. SOOOOO close to getting the D off the field, but no cigar.

OMG! That intentional grounding call was ridiculous. The receiver fell down.

Intentional grounding has not been our friend today. Two iffy calls go KC's way, then a dubious call goes against Hass.

It was a timing pass, a pass made on faith. Bad call.

Do we need another DE in the draft, or what?

Cassell is writing a murder mystery novel in the time he has in the pocket. Should be in bookstores at the end of the month.
REALLY would like a score here before the half.

I should have clarified that, I would like a SEATTLE score before the half, not another Kansas City one.

Glad I clarified that to the football gods, KC just turned it back over.

21-10, half. Glad we got something going into the break. So close on the Butler TD!

We can still win this game. We just HAVE TO come out strong RIGHT AWAY in the 3rd quarter.

As I see it, the difference in this game is KC's 3rd down conversions. We've got to stop them on 3rd down in the 2nd half. The time of possession just stunk for us as a result of this (as well as the score).

That FG doesn't do much though...same thing as last week when the Saints just kept racking up TDs.
And yeah...that intentional grounding call wasn't a call that would be made by anyone who understands the game of football. Why can't the NFL pay the refs better and weed some of these morons out?
