Sunday we will see the top two rushers in the NFL square off when the Vikings come to town. Coming off a game where the Defense let Seattle down in a flip flop of the early season scenario, Russell Wilson and his band of injured receivers will come in hoping to find balance and the Defense will again focus on 3rd down stops that have been all too elusive.

Injury update:

Seahawks-

Carpenter (G) out with a concussion. Doug Baldwin (WR) is out with a sprained ankle. Ben Obamanu (WR) is out for the season with a wrist injury.
Braylon Edwards (WR) is having knee problems, but might play. Robinson(FB) has a wrist injury he should play through.

Vikodin list

John Carlson (TE) concussion.

Things to Watch:

1. Big Stops
We need them.

2. Pass Rush
Bruuuce, where are you?

3. Rudolph vs Okung's perfect no sacks allowed streak.
no whammy no whammy

4. rush to pass ratio.
balanced, ground chuck, or air Russ?

Predictions-
Seattle 21 Vikings 13

I don't think it's a coincidence that the pass rush has suffered when Jason Jones has been unavailable. Unfortunately, he's already been ruled out for this game too. Hopefully the line feeds off the crowd [which they seem to do] and can get pressure from the edges.

The run defense has suddenly looked a bit iffy, so hooray for Adrian Peterson coming to town! The middle of the line has been exposed several times in the last two weeks. Mebane and Branch have to keep the middle secure, and the LB have to be there to plug up the gaps.

Run defense certainly looked iffy on that drive. Branch and Wright both whiffed on a 74 yard run for AP. And we're down a touchdown.

Bizarre role reversal in the first half. All season long we've seen the defense carry the team while the offense has had its issues, and now the offense was surgical while the defense kept getting gashed up the middle.
